This is nonsense. Let Gambians build the nation. This so-called TD area, is just a way of giving our land to foreign investors for their personal gains. When is Gambians going to support Gambians? Are we not going to learn from other nations? If you are so concerned about the environment, then why are you bringing investors to build there? Aren't they not going to bulldoze the trees and the sand? Let's stop this nonsense and promote our own? What is more better than having Gambians live by the ocean and enjoy their lives. I hope Gambia stays the smiling coast. It is a beautiful country. But when you see the Chinese fish factories polluting the coast and destroying life in the water, I'm also afraid for the smiling coast! I hope this award helps The Gambia fighting for the environment and making tourism a powerful and sustainable economy.
