I absolutely LOVE this as a Dutch guy. And especially when the lady is saying: "in Dutch this is called the "Besbchjhjhdhachallabulda"". Hahah I have no idea what she is saying I would love to know the word she is saying. 12:50! Love my brothers and sisters from the USA.
Allen, I enjoy watching you cook/serve. Thanks for licking that little bit of apple cake batter off your finger. I can almost taste the cinnamon & honey! ☺️
I'm growing Super Sweet 100's and San Marzano paste tomatoes in large pots. Both do GREAT here in the north Sacramento (California) valley. Thank you Allen for all your gardening (etc) tips. I especially enjoy your tours of Moss Mountain and other beautiful gardens internationally.
I'm always amazed how myopic people are when it comes to horticulture. Peonies have been hybridized for a few thousand years. Starting in China as a medicinal source then as a hybrid flower of beauty. Upon landing nearby in Japan, the people there put their own spin of beauty on this princess of flowers before they went out to the rest of the world for further cross pollination. All these names on varieties of "old favorites" makes it seem their Asian "roots" never had anything to do with their origin, when in actuality the form we now identify was created by these people. So at least give them their proper kudos when talking of their history.

I like what you pointed out in 'Divide and Conquer'. I have 2 acres and was seriously overwhelmed until I separated different parts into zones. By not trying to 'eat the elephant in one sitting', it has become not only more manageable, but more enjoyable! 🌻
I have 5 of these and love them all!! I live in the high desert of SoCal in Yucca Valley with the Joshua Trees and Yuccas and my Vitex do wonderfully…. They do go dormant for the winter and bounce back every single spring bigger than the previous year!
I just bought one yesterday and planted it in a huge pot with miracle grow soil. I watered it and this morning I found it wilted 😢 I put more water as it felt dry. How can I save it? I also moved it into the shade, it was in full sun .
Quick question, I’ve planted some tree lillies and ideally I would like the blooms and scent to last as long as possible. Would removing the sticky stigma and keeping the pollen anthers work?
Nice to see a daylily video that doesn’t act like daylilies are at all difficult to grow or care for. Trying to get rid of them would be the actual challenge. 😂
