Great look around. I have to agree about C&MC sites. They're just taking the Mick with the prices, especially when I've stayed on better independent sites for cheaper. I only stay in the club for the CL's now. Oh well .... 😢
Great vlog again 👍🏻 looked like you really enjoyed your TRIP 🤪 at first I thought I was watching Harry Kane filming the way you went down 😂 seriously hope you’re ok see you on the next one 👊🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Oh mate I was straight up like a spring chicken! I slipped on the grass bank Clare gave me 4 out of 5 for technique😮Kane buys a challenge I took mine as it comes!
Hi guys new subscribers to your channel looks like monks Wood is a great little dog walking place and it looks pretty near us in Wyton and we didn't even know it was there
Fascinating bus tour - quite fancy doing it myself. I used to work in Central London (Selfridges), but haven't been down to the smoke for many years (we don't live far away either, only in Biggleswade). Made me quite nostalgic for the old place.
Thanks Mike yes really did make a change from the normal! So different seeing the landmarks up close without just driving past them! You have to jump on a bus! 🚌 your near us as we are in Stevenage
We were gifted a caravan and camping club membership a few years back. Not only were certified sites hands down the worst sites we’ve ever stayed at, but actual proper club sites were easily our least favourite. They seem to be the antithesis of camping for us. I remember, on one site alone, seeing ‘campers’ with faux plants and picket fences outside. One camper had 2 matching fluffy little dogs, one black and one white, perfectly groomed and ready for punting into the bushes. Another camper was starting their day all dressed in yoga pants and doing Zumba. It was like the twilight zone or a scene from the Stepford Wives. And remember to park front out with the hookup pole visible in your mirror! We don’t care if the view is in the other direction! Gate closes at 8! I get why some folks like them. Especially if they are old. But I’ll quit camping before resorting to one of those sites.
@@paulandclareontour9513 awful you and others had to go through but glad you managed to find somewhere. I always put Google reviews as well (99% good) and surprisingly it's amazing how many have read them. Nobody deserves to have the holiday ruined ..happy travels 😊
Cracking show The run down to newgale was first seen by me on march 15 1976 from an RAF coach going to RAF Brawdy a few miles further round. That beach was the scene of many a drunken party during the long hot summer of 1976. we worked hard and we played hard. Fishing canoeing surfing and most of all being young enough and old enough to go into the pub on the front there. The campsite is very often under water when the storms come in and during the winter of 76-77 the whole of newgale was under 6ft of snow. With the base cut off we had to dig our way out. no flying on base apart from the helicopters for three weeks and then it was horizontal rain and fog. St davids is such a beutiful place and it brought back fond memories for me thankyou
I think the least the club could do is to write to you letting you know the outcome of your complaint. Well done for raising the issue and being so open on RU-vid.
Thank you and thanks for watching yes agree but I don’t really think they put the time into the CLs but if more people complain about this sort of behaviour they would have to do something about it the CL in question is a farm and to be fair they don’t care as they are too busy in the fields and sorting out the livestock which is no excuse when it comes to running a business if you want people to camp at your site you shouldn’t lie!
Left the club last year, we now just use normal sites, mostly have better facilities. We had a serious problem with a site warden, ( unbelievable attitude even though we were not even on the site ).
Thanks for watching! Yes some wardens on club sites are a bit jobs worthy! We love a Cl site nowadays but we do have a few club sites that we still like to go on!
I think that's the best you're ever going to get from the C&MC. Legally, they're just acting as agents for the CL. There's not much they can do other than eject them from the CL list, and the C&MC are not going to do that because it would cost them. 🙁 I'm always a bit dubious about negative review longevity on the C&MC website. I would leave reviews on Search4Sites, Pitchup, etc, too.
We drive through there on another Vlog! When we drove to St David’s! Lovely area you should be proud of your stomping ground lovely place thanks for watching
