Lets build a WS shed, No lets talk about ourselves like TV people do, and show the odd clip of slaves doing all the work behind us. Shit music to boot.
not teasing. "LeLaxing" ...if want every university has a speech pathology student clinic that does accent reduction. the physio student clinic at UQ is 25 a session. for some reason speech is more expensive yet you would imagine the insurance would be a hell of a lot lower.
It was a good story, but when she said her Dad, loved Hunting, that was enough for me, Big man with a Gun , i guess it was the way, he was brought up, and doesn't know, any better.
This is really depressing. You make it all look so easy. I'm about to build my own shed and I can't even find a damn contractor to help me put the kit together. It's roughly the same size as yours. I despair daily and I think that I may just eventually just throw the towel in and do it my bloody self. What has happened to this Country. Everything is really screwed up properly. Arrghh !!
They're not showing anything regarding assembly or erecting. Just talking about themselves with the occasional wide shot of something happening behind them.
How long did it take you to complete. My partner wants the 2 story house so I'm thinking 8 months minimum. Any advice for a person going to be doing it?
@@markcameron-smith Overall spend will be around 110k, the price is just for the steel, there are still a fair few big costs in it. Windows, plumbing, labour (we installed foundation, flooring, erected walls and trusses ourselves, roofing and wall cladding done by plumber) plasterboard hired out ($13k), flooring, paint, tiling, fitout, electrical
@@markcameron-smith i’ll do a quick cost breakdown for you, kit cost was approx 40-45k, don’t remember somewhere in that range, spent $500 on drilling footings, $1200~ odd for concrete footing, 18 holes at 1 metre deep, approx 700wide, the yellow tongue flooring (think it might actually be the thicker 22mm red tongue flooring) was approx $2800, got about 46 sheets of 3600x800, windows we paid 20k, we went for expensive PVC windows made from Allansford near Warrnambool, they are european style windows we had in europe, so we decided to get the expensive windows, can get cheaper windows such as aluminium or window frame windows, maybe for around 10k (not sure, didn’t price it out), roof metal to be installed was around $1000 from plumber, $4000 to install wall cladding, approx $2000 or so to manufacture and install window flashings by plumber, overall plumbing costs came out to around 20-25k, not 100% sure, that included the roofing, walls, gutters installs, all the trim around roof and walls, running stormwater pipes all under house (there’s a bit), gas lines, hooking up and supplying water pump from water tank to house, running sewerage lines from toilets and sinks to septic tank (worm farm, installed year before, $10k cost approx), and installing a wood heater from Scandia from bunnings. Electrical was approximately $10k including rough in and finish, running lights to all rooms, outdoor lighting, outdoor powerpoints 4x, I think electrical was a good price. Plasterboard we were going to do ourselves but decided to hire out due to time constraints, came out to $13.5k~, that includes delivery of all plasterboard, installation, joining etc. gyprock plasterboard, took approx 7 days to finish due to cold weather (july-ish) and the joins on plasterboard drying slowly so they came and went, also cornice installation, 90mm cornices i think, the higher the walls, ours are 2.7 metre, the bigger the cornice they put on. Further costs are paint, not sure, not too much, planning to do hardwood flooring which is around 5k in wood, carpet in all bedrooms, laundry, tiling in bathrooms (diy), and expect to spend few thousand here and there on skirting, architraves, shelving, just little stuff really, we haven’t started verandah yet, currently have scaffolding planks just sitting there temporarily, no time to get to verandah yet, overall it’s a good price, new house, quality built, nice plumb and straight
I'm actually not sure what it was used for here, may have been to help lift up the garage doors and install them, also a few seconds later looks like gutters were hooked up to it as well, not sure, you could probably do without it but maybe made their day a bit easier
