Get the fearless truth about start-ups and corporate Australia from guys that give you the hard facts, not the company line. Hear Luxury Escapes co-founder Adam Schwab and Catapult Sports Executive Chairman Adir Shiffman provide the inside word on the biggest stories in business with a contrarian take from the guys who sit on both sides of the table.
As someone who lives near SF, every time I have to go to the city all of the Waymo clog up and block areas non stop and if there is a delivery truck you might as well walk.
We need to put EU on this. We already got USB, replaceable batteries, rights to repair and allowed 3rd party app stores. Now we can make them pay immediately.
Australia is an example of a successful experiment of the marxist socialists globalists, on how to take a free society and turn it tyrannical. I hope you will be able to survive the punishment folks.
They could have argued that it wasn't their restaurant because they did not own it or manage it. Instead, they took the stupid route and exposed their ginormous scam. *facepalms* Why skip over the strong argument to the scumbag one? Really?
They are still going to be the top entertainment company buying out other media sources cause yall keep watching so why complain about their law practices now? Every time there is a Disney dispute, there is inevitably a new movie or series and people gobble it up anyway😊
It’s like that with your phones and social media. Why do you think not one 1st amendment law suit has taken place…not that I have ever heard of. And the news. Omg the lies and slander and defamation that takes place in the media is so outrageous it’s not even funny. But nobody has been able to sue them because of their mission statementsssthat basically say….get this…that it’s “entertainment” Yup. Fox ANC MSNBC CBS CNN ….they all are basically owned by the same ppl and they have a disclaimer or mission statement just like the Enquirer does. I feel like I’m the only one who knows this too unfortunately 🙄 cuz everyone’s wandering around like zombie turds. But recently Joe Rogan filed suit against one of them for like 30 million dollars, because they and the DNC tried to edit up a video of him promoting Kamala. I can’t wait to see the outcome of that case
Forced arbitration needs to be abolished. It was used to protect companies from frivolous lawsuits, but lie they always do they abused it for their benefit.
@daniel_trang No, Taiwan is an independent country with this own government and democracy! Also, Hong Kong is not really China, nor is tibet or mongolia. These are all fake land claims
While letting the devs get their money and develop their app better would indeed be a big increase in revenue for apple, having 1-2 months of the entire apple store's payout is a HUGE gain in interest and investments for Apple. Why would apple try to risk on anyone making small bank, rather than just profiting from the entire market's gains. Let's say for example you have a $10k product that will later be worth $1m after good development, meanwhile applestore itself have millions of applications, alltogether generating over $1b in revenue every month, and they get to keep your payout for 1-2 months. That would be $2b let's assume bank interest at 1%, that alone is $10m, account for investments, that's a huge profit margin.
they have to give it some leaway so that the app isnt bad and apple ends up giving out money to scams, in that time the app will have been deemed ok thats probably why
I’m from the uk - so weird how this is also the case here. The west is in complete lockstep. If it’s happening in the US, you can bet it’s happening everywhere else in the west!
Great, yes, I'm a business owner and an avid points collector and have flown many business points flights, but this is really over simplification sales talk. The reality is a little different to this "look easy" system. In reality the average person pays for their reward points. They are not "free". You really have your future reward flights on "Layby". You are saving up for the flight. But some quick checks to ground us. A check on Skyscanner just now, shows business return fares SYD-CDG (Paris) for A$5,390 to top end of A$12,800. (Not A$12k to A$20k). A couple of random examples where you pay extra for your points; 1. Woolworths have a points extra special on for a certain olive oil. $20. 400 Woolworths points, gives 200 Qantas points. Walked down the road to Coles, exactly same oil is $10. So to get those 200 Qantas points you are paying $10. ($0.05 per point). You are pre-paying towards your flight. 2. Fuel for your car is another big one. BP & Ampol offer points, but on todays price they are 205.9 cents per litre. Down the road at Speedway the same fuel is 187.9 cents per litre. For an average car you are paying an extra $11 per fill just to get those Qantas points. Pre-paying again. 3. Mobiles/internet with say TPG. If you have a higher points collection card like Amex, TPG charge 3.02% extra, whereas Visa/Mastercard are 0.52%. 4. Restaurants/cafe. Most now charge extra for cards (Amex even higher) and you don't even realise because it is built in to your total (the fee is automatically added on the card machine). A check last week for a reward flight SYD-CDG in business with Emirates was available, but with taxes and charges of A$2,430. Qatar just don't ever come up any more on points searches.
