*FYI:* For viewers on smaller portable laptops - which is probably the majority of your audience - zooming in on the interface area you're using & the UI in general will make it a ton easier for your viewers to see your text & submenus who now find it unreadable @ fullscreen. You've got this.
Wow what a way to do it. Definitely gave me some ideas there. Some of it I would have done differently. But I love different ways of doing similar stuff . Keeping that brain ticking. Doesn't need to be complicated does it. Great staff!
Just to be picky. It could help if you use a "mouse highlighter" or arrows or something to make it easier to fallow your clicks-action on the Resolve interface. Thank you
Nice one. It would be very cool if you keep making videos on how to use Canva and Resolve together. I am a beginner using both. I have the feeling that Canva is way easier to do basic animations compared to using Fusion. Cheers
Cool. I feel like this could be done much easier in Fusion, but it's a great tutorial for people who don't know Fusion or don't want to mess with it. Great job!
Having your screen at 4k and up doesn't help seeing what you're doing, since you don't have a dynamic zoom on it. Nice video, but most people doing tutorials have made the rest of us used to an easier to follow and smoother delivery.
Some zoom would of been good on certain parts, but nonetheless great tutorial. I've been looking for a way to speed up my explainer videos and this is that way.
What I really want to do is something like the Star Wars hologram where Princess Leia is talking to Han. She is a hologram. I just saw a modern version of that in a Best Buy commercial where a tech support guy from BB is a hologram. That is the effect I would like. Can you do it?
Your video came at a perfect time, my guy. I'm a director of story telling channel recording in Virtual Reality (VRChat) and just this video alone is a big help for me to improve my skills. Thank you.
Thank Nick for this video. I agree with you on everything you say about Davinci Resolve. For me, Davinci Resolve is the BEST video editing app because of the reasons below. First, it's the MOST COST-EFFECTIVE professional video editing program in the market. It costs $295 with LIFE TIME UPDATES. Second, it's POWERFUL because it can do everything that a professional need. Some of Hollywood movies edited with D.R. in addition to other apps include Alien Covenant, Avatar, Deadpool 2, Jason Bourne, La La Land, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (as per Filmsupply.com). The downside is its steep learning curve and it requires powerful hardware but I can overcome those. However, I can't overcome Adobe's sky-high subscription and frequent crashes. I also understand no program is perfect.
Totally feel you about being more and more comfortable discussing things in front of cameras and gaining clarity. I am also a new RU-vidr figuring out my way. I believe our future selves will be glad that we put in the effort to document things. I'm glad I found your channel. 😃
Holy! Not just the office corner, but the whole space is a sweet. I can't sit in one place for more then 30 mins so i'd be switching non stop. Btw subbed
