my mother made a beautiful dolphin covered wall of glass and mirrors in the bathroom i grew up in. it took months of cutting and lots of injured fingers but it looked stunning. sadly when the next people moved in, they ripped it all down. this was over 20 years ago now. wish i would have had the chance to take pictures.
Hi! I had a question for you. For your stained glass edges do you use a different size copper foil? For the edges of my projects it’s so thin and even with the beaded method it won’t thicken up. The only thing I can imagine I should do is to get a larger size copper foil for edges.
Hello, good work, where do you get the template with numbers? I am writing from Turkey, I have never seen it here. I am also dealing with glass fusion, the number template is a very nice idea, thank you.
Bonjour, J'adore votre travail ! Je pense que je vais bientôt me lancer.. Pourriez vous m'indiquer comment vous réalisez les attaches en cercle pour pouvoir le suspendre ? Merci !
this was so helpful! you’re videos are amazing and thanks for sharing all your tools. you are making this so easy for me to get started. thank you so much!!
I always use a grinder but sometimes don’t show it! It’s necessary when making stained glass properly but if you just want to try making a simple piece you can use a grinding stone!
I use those amazon sheets for stained glass which is great but dont recommend them if you are painting and firing in a kiln, or fusing. Ive had them change color on me and go dull.
I wear gloves because it’s not the big pieces that cut me it’s the tiny shards I can’t even see that fly through the air. Somehow those buggers always land like splinters in my skin if I don’t wear my gloves and they hurt like paper cuts and I’m a bleeder.
Haha! This video is the reason why I got myself into happy troubles this weekend. I did my first piece of stained glass today with all those supplies. Thank youuuu! ❤ PS: your videos make it look easy, hehe, is tricky... Happy troubles! 😊
