I just got a aircast with cuff but mine has no plug in.. we had to use something to get the water out. Cuz it must only be a one way value. So we used something to open it to release water Ours must be gravity fed
The pain I’ve experienced from this ultrasling is far worse than the post surgery pain. The shoulder strap digs into my shoulders; the pad is cheap and useless. The shoulder strap cannot be adjusted from the front. I bought a cheapo sling on Amazon that is more comfortable and functional

Yes, this was very helpful, as ours came with no instructions and they did not demonstrate at the hospital how to use. it. My question 1) do you need to put a towel under the frozen part to protect the skin; 2) how long do you keep on at any one time?

@@shaunbean5553 I only found out about the aircast a few days after surgery maybe even a week but I would have used it straight away if I’d of known about it though. Your best friend is ice and levitation to help the blood stay away which will help with swelling.

Do not position the arm at the side with this sling! Note how the "shoulder strap" is pulling directly against the neck! Not a problem for a few minutes, but post rotator cuff/shoulder surgery, these slings are supposed to be worn 24/7 for several weeks. You risk neck muscle and nerve trauma. There is another model sling that uses a different shoulder strap system that secures around the opposite arm, much like putting your good arm into a sleeve. With this video's single strap sling, rotating your bad arm around towards the front more (hand approx. even with belly-button) will decrease the pull on the neck and seat the strap down more on the shoulder.
Get one of these BEFORE surgery to use during post-op recovery/therapy. Using this product greatly reduced my pain and the need for the majority of any pain meds. EXCELLENT product and I highly recommended it.

Hi! Do we need to go up a size on the boot when we use the pro achilles wedge kit to lift up the heel? I'm foot size 11 so the Chart says I need a size LARGE boot, but if I use the achilles wedge would I need to use the XLARGE boot? Any help is appreciated.
