This channel aims to provide help to those who are technically challenged. Maybe clear some confusions to some whether their systems are performing the proper way or not. For enternainment to some. OR maybe just maybe, to give inspiration to young or new enthusiasts 😷 I’m smiling behind that mask btw.
You selected the "Add drive for storage expansion" option (which implies you're expanding the volume from 8bb to 16tb) but then you say "our capacity won't change". Does "Add drive for storage expansion" not mean what I think it means?
Hi Chris, Please can you update this video and install the latest drivers. Which intel GPU would you recommend for my plex server to transcode multiple 4K videos..
Working pa sir ang online payment method nyo as of August 24, 2024.
@arturosalas1120 ok that’s good, at least we know that it’s working. Next test your otg. Do you have a usb storage/thumb drive? Try that and see if it’s detected by your phone.
but it eats up ssd very fast, i ran ssd caching for 2 months and it ate 15% health of my 240gb ssd that was entirely dedicated for caching and nothing else
really appreciate your input bro. yup it will really eat up SSD's TBW pretty fast (well, faster opposed to a normal use case). when i uploaded this vid, i don't think i mentioned that ;P a good reminder for those who are still on the planning stage =) thanks again bro. bright side of it is, it'll still be more practical to use this thing :p depending on objective and use case haha.
any avr recommendation sir if my system unit has a psu 750watts 80+ and an rtx 3070ti what avr and how many watts do i need or kung anong avr nalang hihigit pa sa kailangan ng system. thank youu^^
@@LORISSABOOBMAN very nice, well it will depend on how much you paid for it. As long as you’re realistic with your expectations, that’s still a good cpu.
@@christechrants4085 350, then a PNY1650gtx 2fan gddr6 at BESTBUY, a 1TB ssd gen 4, a 2TB ssd gen 4, 64GB memory from Crucial. 940.00 all in. No gaming but video editing encoding, some dig graphics too.
got to do what ya have the means to do, but you would be better off not buying and intel 13th / 14th gen EVER, not even with a discount. you will never forgive yourself.
Yeah. I waited for around 6 months to see if these issues will resolve before switching to 14700K from 12400F... and that's out of the picture now. Instead I will just use this as a server machine and switch to AMD 9000.
@@christechrants4085 So, Speed is getting split among the channels, meaning PCIe conversion once then SATA channels are being switched. As you showed the normal is around 200. That was my fear, this way a 2.5 GB NIC will not benefit.
@@neail5466 I’m not sure what you mean by getting split by the channels. It will split if all drives connected reads or writes simultaneously. Bandwidth is dependent on lanes and pcie version. Depending on your use case i think you’d need a pcie x4 with ssd drive for the type of traffic you’re expecting. You could read up on pcie lane speeds. The one on the video only did synthetic bench i believe. I’m planning to make another vid where i’d make an actual large file/s transfer instead 😁
@@neail5466 sorry bro. My first reply is way off. Just watched the video and tried to make a quick test. Im able to make a sustained read and write speeds of 200mb/s over 2.5gbps lan and when doing simultaneous tasks bottlenecked by 2.5gbps connection to 300MB/s And when working within the system unit, drives sustained speed of 200-ish MB/s. Even with simultaneous operation of all drives, I’m not able to reach limit of pcie gen 3 x1 pf 1GB/s since i only have HDDs. I will make a vid soon for its demo.
@@christechrants4085 yes I am aware, What I was comparing against was HBAs, which are generally x4 lanes, and then switches the converted SATA channels. This allows the Disks to have more bandwidth. But for 1x lane when we switch it is not much capable especially when considering RAID ops, because data have to go back and forth from the same PCIE channels or the SATA switch just after conversion of the PCIe protocol, whatever the case is the system interface is the bottleneck. But for read only ops that won't matter much I assume.
Good morning idol, nagpunta ako sa rcsu samin hindi daw ma view ang resibo ko galing sa linkbiz portal, screenshot ko din Yun bago inupload, advice nya e upload ko daw ulit
@@AncientSecrets. hello po. Thanks. Anyway, at time of making the video si pnp - feo wala po yung required na field na OP number or reference number. At si PNP lang ang meron nito.
Got mine a few days ago, been testing it on a few games lately, it really does lower the temperature significantly especially on the GPU even in a room without airconditioning. I am using MSI Afterburner and HWInfo64 to monitor the temps. My laptop is the budget gaming Acer Nitro V 15 with i5-13420H and RTX 4050, the entire half of the laptop's bottom cover is ventilated so air can easily circulate within the laptops interior. My temps before while using a cheaper laptop cooler with no air seal whatsoever, just the very basic cooler with two low RPM fans, GPU was maxing around at 75°C which is achieved due to the system throttling down the core clocks from 2510mhz to 2300mhz to keep the temps under 75°C. As for the CPU, it usually ranges from 80-85°C a few minutes after starting the game and slowly drops down to around 75-80°C. Average idle temps were 45°C for the CPU and 40°C for the GPU. But, now using this Llano V12 Cooler on the maximum cooler height with fan set to 1000RPM, average temps for the GPU while gaming are now around 63-66°C, for the CPU it usually starts at around 80-85°C but, after a few minutes of playing the temps settle at around 70-75°C. Really not sure why I am not seeing that big of a difference on CPU temps compared to GPU temps, maybe its how the cooling of the laptop was designed or due to Intel's new P-cores and E-cores, not really sure. Average idle temps with the Llano cooler are now 38°C for both CPU and GPU. Really worth the money if you're trying to extend the laptop components lifespan and squeeze a bit of extra performance from your laptop like a few additional FPS for games. Also, ever since I've been using this Llano V12 Cooler, I am no longer experiencing the very noticeable FPS drops/spikes and thermal throttling I had before with the old, cheap laptop cooler this is mainly because temps are now under control which leads to no more thermal throttling meaning more stable performance. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VERY DETAILED AND VERY WELL MADE VIDEO! TO MORE POWER AND MORE VIDEOS! P.S. To anyone planning to purchase this cooler, I suggest you ready your ears for some decibels and get some noise cancelling headphones.
Hello I’m planning on getting it, wondering if you can help me confirm how a 14.5 inch laptop is going to sit on it, if it’s going to fit properly on it without losing air pressur, actually it’s a Lenovo slim pro 7, so I don’t want to waste money, it’s really expensive in my country. Thanks in advance.
@@Oluwagbenga-ek7oe There is another version of this laptop cooler that is made to support smaller sizes of laptops. it is called the llano v10 (the llano v13 also says it supports smaller laptops and seems to be a refresh of the llano v10)
@@agentastro9758 I am using one called the AICHESON k1 cooler, its basically the same as the Llano but its 40 bucks cheaper, its what im using right now
Thank you so much for this review and the benchmarks! Spent sometime looking for a review of the non-RGB variant on youtube and finally came across your video. I know the difference between the RGB and non-RGB variant is just the RGB lights itself and besides that they are pretty much the exact same thing, I was just curious if there is a difference in terms power draw. Just ordered mine this morning, got it for Php2,500.
Very nice input bro. Thanks! That’s great bargain bro! Nice discount. Anyway, I’ll be sure to include the power draw of the unit. I will upload another video about this with more parameters and setup included.
