I was also a freshman, lived in the dorm, Norton Hall, on Durant, just west of Telegraph. Many of the people that destroyed property were not students, but agitators who came from outside of Berkeley. I was against the war, but the trashing of Telegraph Ave that year was not fair to the small business owners. They did nothing wrong and were also against the war. Its good to protest peacefully but it appeared these outsiders cared only about destroying property. I resented them and was glad to see some of them arrested. Unfortunately, when all hell breaks loose , sometimes the well meaning peaceful protesters get hurt and wrongly accused. I also saw these rabble rousers taunt the cops by throwing bricks at them. When one hit their target, the motions claimed and the mayhem was started. It was a sad day watching the entire area erupt in violence. I loved being a student at Cal and graduating with my degree. These trouble makers were my enemy.
embarrassment by the media Tom Mesereau . ? 5:11 The media couldnt care less whos name they rubbish . . i would actually say they revel and get off from the misery and torture of their victims, from the slanderous filth they generate all for money & notoriety. The Glutenous Media machine destroyed Mjs life and many others. The Fact is . . 4:50
The police usually examined computers and phones for such a charge and interviews witnesses. Never heard of 70 officers doing a surprise raid for such a thing.. they have never done it to anyone else. Even for Epstein they ignored multiple complaints from victims before they raided & convicted him & still he was feted by high society. There is a double standard and it has everything to do with racism and nothing with morality.
