Yezidis are not Kurds (arian race), they are a mixed race between semetic and aryan contrary to Kurds whose race aryan. Yezidi is a not old religion as many tell , Yezidi is not older than 1000 years old.
Assyrian and Yezidi are genetically closer than the Kurds. As with many Kurds taking ancestry DNA and 23 and Me they are surprise to find they closely related to Persians/Iranians. Therefore, it’s true they are from Iran and not northern Iraq, Turkey and Syria.
Let's get things loud and clear. What we understand from ethnicity and nationality today is a very recent development. Yezidis are Kurds. They are in fact more Kurdish than anybody else who claims to be Kurdish because they did not mingle with other Muslim or Christian ethnicities in the region as much as Sunni Kurds did. The reason why Yazidis USED TO say that they were Yazidis and not Kurds is that back then, I mean, literally almost a century ago, being a Kurd meant religion (Muslim), not direct ancestry. That's why Yazidi Kurds wanted to emphasize their difference. And to be honest, Muslim Kurds were indeed very biased towards their Yazidi brothers like the Turks, Arabs, and Christians in the region. There were terrible persecutions against Yazidis. But this was a long time ago when being a Kurd only meant being Sunni Muslim Kurd. It excluded not only Yazidi Kurds but also Zoroastrian and Christian Kurds etc. But those days are over. A great deal of prominent Kurdish nationalists today are actually Yazidi Kurds and they are proud to be Kurdish. Because they are Kurdish by ethnicity and Yazidi by religion. It is only the Assyrians, the Armenian government, the Saddam regime, and the Turkish government that uses it as a propaganda tool to divide Yazidis Kurds and Muslim Kurds from each other because they are scared of our unity, our power, and what we can accomplish. It's their biggest nightmare to get reminded that we Kurds, Muslim, Christian, Yazidi, or whatever, are here and will be here forever. Today all the Kurdish political parties acknowledge the importance of Yazidi Kurds for our cultural heritage and history and are devout to protect it.
Same stupid thing like zazaist people Ok zaza howrami people are not kurd, alevi are not kurd, kelhur are not kurd, now yezidi kurd kurmanj are not kurd, Who is kurd? Ok there is no kurd on the world

Yazidis are genetically, culturally, linguistically, and historically Kurds,,, Ezidi is the religion, and they speak KurManji Kurdish. the only difference is the religion and the words that they use in their rituals...it is the same with Alevi-Kurds...their religion is Alevi-Zoorastranism but their mother tongues are Kurdish - KurManji but also KirMancki (Zaza Kurdish)
you speak a dialect that is spoken by the majority of the kurdish population. your nation is made up bs. find me yezidis in the clay tablet. akkadians and sumerians mentioned kurds in their clay tablet.

@@matrixxx3662 there are no differences between yezidi and Kurds it’s not two different ethnic people they are both the same ethnicity only difference is the religion and Kurds are native to Southeastern and Eastern Turkey, Northern Syria, Northern Iraq, Western Iran

As a yezidi, this is proposterous! We yazidies speak kurdish, our holiest of works are in kurdish, we are genetically identical to kurds, we have kurdish clothes, live on kurdish land. Our Elders spoke kurdish. Some of the first kurdish emirs were yazidies before the arabification and islamification happened. When I grew Up during the 70s and 80s this was Common known fact. The whole "yazidies are NOT kurds" started popping Up during the 90s and onwards. Ffs, we used to be called adawyya kurds prior to this whole bullshit. Stick to our kurdish brethren, they're THE only ones who fought With and for us against ISIS. We are One! United we stand, divided we fall. ok, so so you claim not to be a Kurd but you write in KurManji Kurdish "long live the Yezidi" (which we all Kurds want of course but it is still a Kurdish language & culture, and also a Kurdish religion like also Zoroastrianism, Alevism, Sufism, Jewish, Christianism, Shi'ism, or Sunnism)...
The "yazidis are not kurds" agenda did not exist prior to the 90s, in iraq it was proposed by saddam, and in armenia it was funded and promoted by iranian scholars. yazidis are genetically, culturally, linguistically and historically have been kurds, the first written document on them literally refers to them as "Akrad Adawyya" meaning (adawyy Kurds) in english
