"Smile 2342!!" @10:00 was the Wesley St. crossing gate not working? It was cool seeing the NS locomotive painted in the G&W and color scheme. I wonder what it's story is?
Just wanted to add to all the other great comments you've received on great job on sharing your knowledge in how to check and repair the chargeing system very well done and explained to understand keep doing your videos thank you so much..
Outstanding video. Have a S100 lawn tractor that I perform maintenance on regularly to include the mower deck which is the most labor intensive. No surprise right. Have an old spindle laying around I’m going to experiment with to do this modification. Thanks for the roadmap.
My mower today became very hard go press and engage the the self propel. If i tried it i would smell a rubber burning smell. Should i attempt this repair or is it something else?
Thanks for the video. Liked how easy it was for you to get off the hub assembly! In the end I resorted to using my harmonic balancer. The hub was on there so tight it bent the frame but it was a cheapo chinese one and I will try and bend back straight. Will definitely be adding some anti seize on the hub when I put it together!
This video saved me, I was cutting the lawn and the drive stopped working so I was going to take it back since I just bought it but I was out of my 30 days. I registered to warranty and they wanted $49 to look at and anything additional if warranty didn’t cover. I watched this and took it apart and it was a little piece of a stick that jammed the belt. Thanks for this.
I've done this with my cub cadet zero turn replacement spindles. Took apart three brand new spindles, removed one side dust seal on both bearings, tapped weep hole, added 10-24 screw, filled with grease, very solid, should last a good long time.
I like this idea. Maybe I can do the same thing with an old ammo can that is 2 feet tall. Except I would run the power cables from the tractor battery. I have an old car radio that has a tape and CD player.
Great video. Only real issue I had was socket wouldn't fit over hub bolt--had to remove blades. Hub didn't "slide" off as easy as yours. Impact wrench a must. Pay attention feeding belt back through to center to not get a twist in it. Should be obvious if you do; belt probably won't go onto center pulley unless you really really force it 🙂
I cannot get the blade hub assembly to come loose from the shaft. And, the cable won't come off of the transmission arm either. You must have already had it apart just before you made this video. Any tips to get the hub off and the cable off as you did?
The small building leads to a tunnel under the track to the depot. A lot of older very cool buildings in the area. A lot of history here in the steam era. This was once a very big steam engine and car repair center. It was huge. If you get a chance look into. Very interesting. Thank you.
Very helpful. Just followed what you said and I was able to change the belt. Many other videos are asking the deck to be opened, which was not necessary as per your tip. Thank you! One struggle I had was to keep the cable back to the hook. It was very tight and was not going inside the metal hook.
These appear to be A2s, you can tell by the CITV station on top. A1s coming out of storage to be blown up in Ukraine would lack those. Rail transiting equipment is pretty common, nice catch.
