It's truly an honor to be invovled with this event. Seeing these athletes get back on bikes and rip up the track gives me goosebumps and puts a huge smile on my face. Thank you High Fives and everyone who makes this event possible.
Usually in that kind of videos, you see the patients released from hospital and they live with their families and have always people around. But seeing him alone in his apartment makes me really sad, but that is reality for many people with such injuries. If you don't have family around you before the accident, you won't have them afterwards.
