A lot of people don't understand simple math. This isn't complicated. The more users play your game the more money you make. Xbox has millions of users and all of them aren't on Gamepass and do not wait until games launch there. And even with GP, Xbox pays developers to put their games there and so far Atlus, Capcom and Square Enix have done very well on the platform. It's an old argument that doesn't hold a drop of water anymore and I don't know if it ever did..
If they had a lite version like the switch, then I could see why a lower ram version would be smart. You don't need a lot of ram for 720-1080p compared to outputting to a 4k tv.

Nice channel. I am not a fanboy of any system, but I am glad that JRPGs are coming to Xbox finally. It was nice when the Persona games were ported, I knew that was a sign of things to come. Here we are, getting more JRPGs. Subscribed!

What do you mean they abandoned Xbox? Aside from a few PC exclusives every Microsoft game and every Game Pass game is on Xbox. Even some games that would be fine as PC exclusives like Age of Mythology get Xbox ports.

Its no secret by 2032 that MS wants Xbox gaming services to be a cloud based gaming service on every device. those FTC leak documents revealed a lot with MS future plans with Xbox gaming services. Even though nothing from those FTC leaks are set in stone, lets understand why they would like to do this. 1. MS has never made a dime off xbox consoles. they either lost money on each console they sold or broke even. 2. Gampass is where MS makes their money, which offsets the xbox consoles lack of profit margins. 3. MS wants xbox gaming services to evolve beyond the Xbox console, because thats where the money is for them. I feel that the next generation of xbox consoles will most likely be the last, at least in a traditional sense, before MS fully evolves the xbox gaming service into a full fledged gaming service across every device with an Internet connection.
