Garmin totally sucks. Is there a university degree users need first in order to use one of their devices? I would have an easier time learning the Russian and many Chinese languages before I can figure out this Garmin crap. I spent $1000 dollars on a device and tried to learn how to use it (and I have an IT background), but wow, it is hands down the most un-intuitive app I have EVER experienced.
The most horrible sandal I ever buyed! I tried them for one day and I couldn't walk for the next 3 days, they are just torture for the little toe and the heel! 85€ for nothing but pain! Also the grip of the sole may be ok for the road, but definitely is nothing for hiking!
When I click to make it on road for a distance it displays a message on the screen saying , detailed maps do not support automative or motorcycle driving, I hit ok and it goes back to map but lines are still straight, do you have any thoughts sir ?
I am watching your videos and they are helping a lot. My question is, Can you use the maps that are on the SD card while out in the field without having to connect to the computer and transferring from the card to the unit itself?
Does “Recovery” on a run really mean walking? Im just worried that the watch thinks im still running, just running slower, during “recovery” and if Im walking then alot of my running data like pace, step length etc will be messed up. Or?
Where do you get the addition / supplemental sd card map? Will it do back road intersections? I do service work for the county that dont have an address but I don't know the area enough to pin drop a location also find destinations to city/town address.
Hi, your videos are really helpful. I have a question do you see any benefits of using Garmin explorer to create route or track instead of doing it directly on updated Montana unit? Seems like extra step to take. Of course I 'm talking about Montana unit with all recent maps uploaded and available. Thanks
Awesome voice over on your ATV videos! Started my channel earlier this year by just putting a GoPro on my helmet and editing the videos a little. I like the details that you give out and it allows me to get to know other corners of NB! I'm based in Dieppe and mostly ride around this area. Keep it up!
I found the garmin to be the better option for myself. Initial cost was more for garmin however subscription cost was more for zolio. Also i have owned other Garmin products in the past and they have been in the GPS game for a while. Whereas the Zolio messenger, thats it! no other devices.
Does it have a water lock feature or can you just jump in the pool and start? I'm looking for a watch to walk in the pool with along with swim for my knee recovery.
My 66st came with TopoActive maps which do route. They are exactly like the maps Garmin uses on its bicycle GPS units. I am in England and my 66st has TopoActive Europe maps.
How come the vivoactive 5 doesn’t show animations? I’ve followed your steps but can seem to find them, surely the newest version should have this right?
I cant figure out how to send an SMS to a contact that has the Zoleo app. I want to send an SMS because my contact will forget to check the Zoleo app and is not seeing my messages when Im in the back country. In this demo you send a message to contact with all three methods: SMS, email and Zoleo app. On my app, if the contact has ZOleo app, SMS is not an option....
Does anyone else have a problem with having to pay extra for maps when you've just dropped over $1000 on a GPS? Google maps is a thousand times better and free
