Haven't used it in a few years, have you checked out the manual? If I remember correctly there are different modes to cycle through, maybe that might be the problem
@@DualShaman hahaha it was the same for me... Didn't use it for years but seeing the Omnichord out again I wanted to try it again... Yes if you try it please let me know! All the best!
it took me forever to figure out how to tell my Korg Triton to play on two midi channels but I finally got it working so I could play it on F mode with Organ Buttons and the Strum notes ... I always wanted to use it like this but didnt know it was possible ... I wouldnt have tried to figure it out if I hadnt seen your video ... Cheers !
An off topic question but I work as a paramedic besides my music career. And can't help wonder if you are diagnosed with essential tremor? It's not dangerous but it looks that way when I watch your hands? ❤️
No, they're from a few sample libraries we've made, and I think also from Sample Magic's 'Berlin Techno' library. The drum sections of the Radias is a bit simple, but the samples are high quality and pushed through its effects can deliver interesting results
Kind of like buying a ferrari and driving in 20mph. Real musicians buy shit to have fun with it, use it. Put emotion to it. You can get new knobs cheap. And actually brushed aluminum german engineered knobs. Win win
All original stuff from us :> We even have a few kits made for Elektron called Vintage Keys and Spontaneous Chords if you want to check out on the Elektron site
la bête est dans la boite. Il ne faut pas trop chatouiller ses potards car sinon il grogne des sons bien groovy. Bravo d'avoir su domestiqué cet animal légendaire le Minitaur
the beast is in the box. Do not tickle its knobs too much as it grunts groovy sounds. Congratulations for having domesticated this legendary animal : the Minitaur
hmm though call, just listened to some XD demos and I'm really impressed, you won't get that amount of warmth with the Radias, as far as bread and butter sounds or emotional impact, Radias can sound very weak and thin, but it excels at sci-fi-ish sfx/textures/arps. It also looks like the sequencer on the minilogue is a bit more advanced, though I haven't delved too deep into the demos. Don't know if i would trade in the Radias for the Minilogue but I'd really want to have both :P Actually thanks for pointing this out, I think I might even seriously consider investing in a Minilogue
Quick update, just got my hands on the Minilogue XD yesterday and it's outstanding. The fact that you can upgrade it with user oscillators and fx makes it even better (I got the dirtboxsynth bundle) . If i were to pick one between the two, it'd be the Minilogue XD, no doubt :>
@@DualShaman I have the Minilogue XD and I really love what it brings to my compositions. Now I'm looking at adding a Radias, and I love what I'm hearing from your video. Now that you've had both in your setup for awhile, how do you feel about the XD complimenting the Radias?
@@majunior1944 Hi Keiron, first off, the Radias has a bit more features than the Minilogue, given its many lfo's, multiple filters and wide array of good quality effects. I did get some user effects for the Minilogue but I end up only using and overdrive/amp and a comb filter at times. The filter on the Minilogue sounds better than the Radias though, much meaty-er and the knobs have a better feel, my Radias is plagued with bad knobs, acting up all over the place, guess I need to give it a good clean. Radias can sound much thinner in comparison, but excels at futuristic and sci-fi stuff, you can do pretty extensive sound design with it. When paired I think they complement each other very well. I usually use the Minilogue for lower/mid register sounds like bass, leads, keys and Radias for higher-mid/high register sounds like pads, fx or razor sharp arpeggios. Hope this helps :>
@@DualShaman Good comments there DS - also don;t forget Radias has some cracking 'studio finished clean' sounding drum kits ... keeping mine, but have been tempted by the XD and Hydrasynth (though I'd buy with 61+ keys version only, don't need the Desktop ver.) 😎👍🎹🎶 ... 🍻's
@@DualShaman So any midi keyboard will work? Ordering soon but that kb with that rack looks cumbersome being that I already have 5u rack empty in front of me
