I usually always hate tutorials with music, but not this one. Not only is this the video that showed me how to make a dog collar, I actually watched it so much that I learned the words to the song. My singing still sucks but I can make an awesome collar for my dogs. Thank you
Thank you! Was using The "Jean -a- ma- ". (sp?). It helps. But a button!! Wow! Husband needs jeans hemmed, going to try trimming the seam and using a button. Have broken too many needles mending jeans. Thank you!!!
I love your tips. If I had started learning to sew before my mom passed, I’m sure she would’ve taught me little tricks like this. Instead, I’m figuring it all out on my own with help from RU-vid.
Hi. Thank Machine foot that you’re using I didn’t realize for a long time, but if that’s the one with the spring on the side, it’s actually made to go over those seams. As soon as your foot starts to tilt. Level it with your finger and press the spring button to lock it level. It will release as soon as you get over the thick seam.
That is a great tip. Thank you for sharing it with us. Yeah I do know about this little trick but the thing is that some people don't have that and then using a button helps
Thanks I have 3 pairs of pants I want to cut off and make shorts, two have some stretch, do you have suggestions on how to hem without getting the flair out at the bottom on stretch material? I've tried lengthening the stitch and using stretch stitches but it still doesn't look good.
