When I played vs Chaos Daemons, I started to lose rapidly. And this soundtrack started playing. I felt as my failure doomed whole planet to become Daemon World, with billions of lives to suffer forever. Awesome immersion
Tyranids *insect noises!!!!* *InSeCt NoIsEs* *INSECT NOISES!!!!!* As a Tyranid player I can translate. Its basically "Boy, I'm a bit peckish" We're not all that scary, all these names that you give us are a little hurtful, we just want a snack, we're sorry.
Does anyone know the video where this planet gets invaded by tyranids and the space marines and guard keep getting pushed back until they’re in the fortress and they make a last stand. To secure the black box because they know they’re gonna die so they secure the information on there for the rest of the empire
By the holy light of the emperor, and through the strength of the imperium, I declare holy exterminatus em perpituitas... Let HIS holy hellfire rain down upon them all.... FOR THE EMPEROR AND IMPERIUM!!!
Genestealer cults come to be because an Genestealer Tyranid makes its way into an hive world, then grabs an unsuspecting victim, injecting him/her with stuff that makes the victim see the Tyranid as an sort of angel or saint. Mind control, basically.
I am a nurse that usually only makes some form of torpedo entering people. So yes, people entering _in_ torpedos is quite an refreshing aspect of Wh40k, when I think about it.
Keen eye, when I ripped the audio of the terminator from space hulk ascension I couldn't separate the voice "purge the xenos filth" from the loading and assault cannon sound effects without it sounding bad so I improvised it with that world in conflict screen tear, thanks for watching! :)
It was a relic from their past, I think is a kind of heresy to nuke a sacred, yet infested, ship. I also see that during deathwing Warhammer you go around looking for relics and other shiny stuff useful for the battle against the Tyranid. Furthermore, there are only 4 warriors in the spacehulk (poor squad Gideon) so in terms of a Tyranid invasion is not such an incredible amount of manpower subtracted from the battle. "Exploratory" missions are cool, for the Lion!
Because some space hulks have ships or tech that predate the imperium of man and is 20 times stronger and more dangers than a lot of the tech they have now. Best way to put give a man from the early 1700 technology for 2020 and then try to figure out how to use it.
I thought that was a pretty good question and looked it up. 4chan explained it better than I could " Space Hulks are regarded as both dangerous and important for these reasons: lost Imperial technology, information, relics, and entire ships may be recovered from the Hulk; problem is, it'll probably be infested by Tyranid Genestealers, a Chaos warband, or Orks, and sometimes stranger things that may threaten the system they are in. For this reason, if a Space Marine Terminator squad is available, they will venture into the Hulk to both purge it of threats and recover anything of value. If they aren't available, the Space Hulk will usually be destroyed by any available battleships in the area to prevent anything from getting out of it."
