Starke Sound - Bold is Beautiful. In 2009 a group of Southern Californian designers, engineers, and audio enthusiasts joined together to form Starke Sound - a speaker company created specifically for high-end audiophiles and Home Theater. The founding partners all shared an interest in high-end audio performance and felt that the current state of speaker technology, particularly multichannel technology, was lacking not only in performance but also in the design of the speakers themselves. So the race was on to build a highly qualified multi-disciplinary design team to challenge the status quo and create a world class creative audio company that combines state of the art technology with an elegant, contemporary design aesthetic.
I'm a big Starke fan, I have several of their speakers. On wall, book shelf, Lumi/sattelites are all awesome. I also have their SUB24 - really really cool 8" 3-way sub. I'm looking at the Fiera 8 for my Atmos channels - Starke is great stuff. Very nice cosmetic finish
Now try their SW12 or SW15! It will change your listening experience. The 12 goes down to 16 Hertz, the15 down to14 HZ! Even the 10' will go down to 18 Hertz, and not at minus anything but at +3db!! I'm a fan of Starke Sound like you are. Lol!
@@christophergaus3996 I hear ya Lol! But if you ever become curious about the SW10, just put some spikes or rubber feet under it. 18 Hertz is way deeper than 27 hz! You'll have to listen to all of your music and movies again. I'm a speaker crack addict. lol
Starke Sound will be in room 708 at AXPONA. Eversolo streamers, AMP-F2, new A3 Class A+AB amp, new Beta7 bookshelf speakers, P7 cinema speakers, SW15 subs, WyWires and XLO cables, more… Looking forward to your visit!
You did a great review on the Starke Sound SW12! Do you believe that a pair of Starke Sound SW15 Subs will be great for high end 2 channel music in a dedicated acoustically treated room? Do you also feel that the Starke Sound SW15 can output a great high end musical sound for 2 channel music?
I just ordered one of your SW15 subs and got it installed in my system recently. Goes along with two other 12" subs I already had, and it made a massive difference during movies. The low rumble and sub 20Hz extension really comes through well. Nice job on these subs for the price point, will be saving up for some more of your items in the future!
I made the order for two 15 inch, cant wait ! It will replace my paradigm v12 I hope I will like the upgrade ! But what's that sub tuner ? It can't be find on your website ... Is it like a mini DSP ? Do we need a mic to calibrate it ? such mistery ....
Hello, I'm interested in getting a Starke Subwoofer. By chance you can share what your experience with the subs you ordered? Do you recommend it? Thank you in advance.
