Yet, I still paid my ex-wife 100% CS until 7/30/22. She's suing me for the last 26 months. She ignored all good faith efforts. Do I have an recourse?

So I am not a party to the case and I am trying to serve someone who is homeless and I have tried to meet with the person who is purposely trying to avoid me . Through text I have proof that he states that he will not accept the documents. I have emailed to his email address that he provided to the court on 3 different days. Can I print the sent email proof and submit it with the proof of service form to the clerk?
@@MartyJames-ls3dt if this person does not consent to electronic service, then electronic service is not proper. The person doesn’t actually have to accept the documents when being personally served though. The documents don’t even have to touch the person. As long as you can meet up with the person and hand them the documents and let them know they’re being served that is good enough. The documents can fall on the ground for all you care. If personal service is not required, then you can mail the documents to the person at the address they last provided at the court. I frequently email documents when I am serving documents by mail and note on the proof of service that the documents were also emailed. I also note the email address that the documents were served at. Even though electronic service may not be proper the court knows that the person probably actually got their documents. If this person absolutely cannot be personally served then serviced by publication may be an option.
My ex-husband has arrears of $48,000 and Los Angeles County DOES NOTHING. They act like they don't care. @@e.o.5221 unfortunately, this situation is not uncommon. DCSS is often not in a position to go investigate these things. The problem I frequently find myself in as a DCSS attorney is that even if I can prove a party makes a certain amount of money or even if I can get income imputed to the party if they are working under the table, it can be very hard to collect the money. I have some ideas though. Unfortunately, cases like this tend to take a lot more legwork from the other parent involved in the case.

I had a judge try that on me. I asked them if the courts were the IRS. Then I said a few years ago you guys owed me 2800 bucks where was my interest? He instantly removed it.

Child support assists a parent who needs assistance for the child when the other parent refuses responsibility. All those who disagree seem to be ones who neglect or avoid their responsibility. Clearly not ones who have solely supported children, alone. Especially, when the other party has more ability to assist. It is unfortunate parents can’t do the right thing without legal action, but legal action is most times absolutely necessary in the best interest of the child(ren).
My ex has a degree from a prestigious university and hasn’t “worked” in 6 years. She gets paid under the table as a high-end tutor. Because she’s on “welfare”, no income can be imputed and she therefore is cashing in on child support from my hard-earned money. She is capable of making very good money. I’m the primary parent with 80% custody and I’m still paying her hundreds a month. It’s a broken system. It rewards and motivates people to stay unemployed.
When we divorced, we agreed to use the child support calculation government website ourselves. We didn't have the judge assign a specific dollar amount to our child support order. So I can't get to the child support office to go after him for the child support arrears, I would have to sue him for them.... Is there a statute of limitations on THAT?

What if the mother is the CS recipient and she has another baby with a different father and goes on medical leave? Will her income be imputed to keep the CS payment the same?
Generally, if someone is on medical leave, income will not be imputed to them. However, they generally need to provide proof of their medical leave. If they get disability while on medical leave, generally the amount of disability the parent gets will be used as their income in the calculation. Don't count on anything in the court process happening automatically though. Always count on needing to make arguments and requests that are appropriate for your case.
This is a very important information! The non custodial parent is doing everything possible to pay less child support and avoid paying spousal support as well, he has his own catering business with his new partner and is working less under payroll or is “ currently unemployed “

The gov does not care about the support of the child. This program is designed to pay the state and as long as judges continue to put excessive demands so that 50% does not cover what's owed the debt grows with penalty and interest like they loaned the money out when your child never sees a dime of the money. It is no more or less organized crime and enslavement which is also illegal
