@@lawndudelawnmaintenancellc3203 cheapest I can find is 6k, but is 26 hp enough for the 61" after two weeks of growth? Reason for the 26 hp using allot of gas is it uses a old school float carburetor, while the bigger 37 hp vanguards use EFI
There’s a lever on the right side that you pull all the way back to a notch for fully raised deck. Then there’s multiple height settings that you can lower deck to for desired height. 💯
This year I’ve changed it up. I’ve been mowing first because I noticed when I trimmed first I tend to over trim areas that I would normally get with the mower because of this I’ve increased my efficiency this year. One exception is if I have a brand new property I’ll trim first, so I can mow the tall grass that I get from trimming 💯
Well, based on a few things where to sign is shining at the time you do the stripes and which blades you’re running. I find that the aftermarket blades do a much better job with the striping💯.
I had these thoughts as well before purchasing. After owning 5 different models over the last 5 years I can say we haven’t had mechanical problems and these mowers are well built. As long as maintenance is kept up they’re great machines 💯
Nothing but the mower and pattern. I mean, I run Ballard gold Blades and I also treat this field so that that helps. But don’t use a stripe kit or anything 💯
@@lawndudelawnmaintenancellc3203 same with the 52” model? I’m planning on purchasing either the 61” or 52” what would you recommend? I mainly don’t mow anything over an acre and a half
So I subscribed to your channel. And I have a question.Which mode do you like better, the standard z?K61 or your Bradley 60.Want which one cuts better speed?Handles hills questions like that. Thanks a lot😊
Man, that is a good question lol. To be completely honest with you when it comes to cut Quality they both are neck and neck when it comes to hills. I’ve had them both on pretty steep hills but if you’re talking about speed with Quality and overall comfort ZK wins hands down…… i’ll take to Bradley any day of the week but the platform and cushion/suspension just doesn’t compare to the ZK as well as overall build. ZK has much more fuel capacity and much more engine options. so overall depends on what you were looking for if you’re looking for the best return on investment all day and you won’t regret it but if money isn’t really an issue and you need the capability of a bigger engine capacity and attachments then I say ZK 💯
I agree, but this is a baseball field that the Little League is trying to only use as a practice field. We’re currently planning to Harley rake and clean out the whole infield. Which is hard to tell from the video but the whole area from me to the truck is pretty much the Infield lol
A guy told me that the reason it breaks off is because it gets brittle, so soak it in bucket of water for 1 day the whole spool and that hydrates the line makes it strong again I tried it and actually last longer, I'm thinking because it's fiber Let me know if it works for you
Dafuq outta here, you got a mini track loader! Yeh, those are capable machines, you could even put an excavator bucket on there and use it as a backhoe.
To be honest, probably wouldn’t be the most practical machine for it. I find it does best with dry branches even if it has a bunch of leaves on the branches, it tends to clog.💯
I Had a 52 Bradley, i kept blowing spindles. Apparently that issue is fixed? i ended up buying 3 new scag V rides. ran them for a few years. im going back to bradley if the spindle issue is resolved. this mower is just as good when it comes to cutting, and i can buy 2 for the price of one scag. If the mowers were priced equally i would def take the scag due to other minor upgrades and comfort. but in most cases it's marginal.
I never had an issue with spindles, so I’m assuming they fix this issue. I also couldn’t agree with you more on them having better ROI than getting a major brand. Only reason I got two wrights in the last couple years was because I needed a 72” and a bagging unit which Bradley is yet to come out with unfortunately. But the price of Bradley’s are unbeatable 💯
After the first 200 hours it will do better I have wright mower standers up to 72” and hustlers and they get better on fuel consumption we have 37 and 36Hp vanguards
I now have over 200 hours on my Bradley more specifically the Briggs engine. I think it does do a little bit better but to be honest what makes it tougher to tell is the fact that it only has a 5 gallon fuel tank. Like you I have a couple wright standers a 61 and 72“ zk with the 37 hp EFI Vanguard and because they have much fuel capacity with the twin tanks. it does make it hard to compare. All honesty might be getting the same feel consumption just one has a 5 gallon tank and other has 13 or 14 gallon tanks 🤔 😂 💯
hills and thick grass are typical for me. Is this a little gutless in that case? Yes it would be nice to have an EFI option even if its the same engine size it will have alot better response and power than carb and might help that fuel consumption issue.
I’ve done hills and thick grass with it. You definitely do hills well with the 61” model although I’d recommend adding spacers(I haven’t and still so steep inclines). Thick grass it does well in but fully recommend using aftermarket blades versus stock for the best results.💯
Solo power bro im faster by myself my problem was the help trying to count my pockets in for getting i have a company in this is all my company equipment.its better so for me now i had to downside just a lil because i focus on quality not quantity so it worked for me in 23 so ill be fine for this upcoming year.
What oil filter are you using? I was told to use the Hydro Gear 52114 but that looks a lot bigger than the little yellow oil filter that comes on the mower. Thanks for the video
@jeffjackman5734 it’s not a stupid question man. But yes Vanguard Briggs same thing. I have 37 hp EFI engines that take the same filter all the way down to my 18hp Briggs used on my debris loader. Briggs & Stratton uses the same filter for a wide range of engines. 💯
Good update my Man Hope your leaf season has been prosperous, and all is well I think the trend these days is more and more guys are going solo.. Not just in lawn care, but many other fields as well. One of my clients is a solo lawyer. He said many folks in his field are also choosing the solo route, due to higher insurance costs, and how much harder it is to work with others in this day and age. I see it in other professions as well.
Appreciate you man. You are right solo appears to be the new thing, especially with the service industry. It seems like you have to pay a bunch of money for someone who has zero experience or work ethic. But in my case this wasn’t a issue I just needed to restructure my business. It’s easier to do that with just me. Hoping you are doing well as well.💯
