@ThaGangu yeah I don't like the parking indicator thing either, the whole game still feels very janky tbh! I can't believe how broken it still is. It's literally like they only fixed the save game files and mirrors. That's it. 3 weeks for that. Wow, such extensive testing 🤣😅🤣
More developers need to put that hold turn signal to look like in truck driver. I think that's a cool option. Yea mirrors look way better. Tired to get my buddy to play he said no I use my mirrors and those are shit when first came out lol
@ThaGangu yeah or even like bus Sim 21 where you hold L3 to look left and R3 to look right. Truck Drivers is kinda jank for me, and I can't do it quickly, I have to slowly do it, but it works, so that's all that counts for me. But yeah, I am not impressed, to say the least. The update made the rendering issues worse for me than before, and the invisible barriers are the biggest thing for me! Immersion breaks the minute I hit nothing but air and get damage for it. Collisions are awful. Engine sounds are awful, and overall, it still feels like it runs at 15fps. Mirrors look a bit better and like the option to hold to activate optional mirrors. Very helpful since the mirrors are still invisible in the cab and still can't move my friggin seat back!!!! And the seat needs to be raised a touch too.

@Brockmarton775 I believe the max cap is 820,000L and you can also get a tandem one going so 1,640,000L. I filled up the tandem once in MP on Spruce Mountain Farms and took me around 2 hours to fill with a 10,000L bucket.

After like 250 hours between ps4 and ps5 I finally finished Michigan last night! I just kept map hopping for years and finally said f it. I don't know how many times I flipped the past 2 days lol.
@ThaGangu yeah I 100% Michigan a few times now, once a few years back with a buddy twice my age. It was fun shit. But also did Alaska, Kola or whatever and Tamyr or whatever & Yukon and then after Yukon I got bored. That Kola map was a struggle. I'd skip that one if I were you or get some MAX modded trucks for it cause good lord it's brutally hard.
@OCDFarming yeah I prefer this over on the road. More to see in the world and I like to pick up and drop off trailers instead off permanently have a trailer like I have on on the road
@dandoyle834 Yeah, this game is far better than on the road. I like the mirrors, the scenery, the rain, the road networks. I don't like the hiccups or the camera angles, but those are pretty minor for me. It's not a bad game for $35 or whatever, plus the DLC I got.

Tourist bus has light steering for the wheel. Fern bus is really stiff I hate using FFB/centering because I'm really OCD about loosening the wheel getting rough with it, only downfall for me at the moment, a bit stiff, firm but forceful. I play motorfest like a SIM, light wheel, feathering it, bus21 the same, tourist the same we will see this month for taxi life when the console wheel support is finished. I really want a feathery wheel for fernbus 😅
@andrewdogza5303 yeah my ffb on my wheel is lowest it can be for Fernbus. But thanks I might have to try that out. I was looking at earlier and looked okay. I don't mind a stiff wheel, I'd rather be a little stiff than steering too much and breaking my arms. I hate when it's too sensitive using 270° steering roto and lowest sensitivity settings like On The Road. That game is god awful for wheel use. It's okay for a rudimentary wheel like a t80 or something but any wheel with a clutch seems to be screwy with that game. But yeah I just got motor fest but haven't had time to play it since I'm a truck/bus Sim kind of guy over Sim racing. Never had a clutch till now so I am looking forward to trying it out but would also need to get a shifter.
@@OCDFarming fernbus on console is very stiff, truck ang logi is quite a light stiff, commendable. Bus21 I have all feedback off, nice rotary free wheel can track effortlessly, same with tourist bus and I got used to motorfest with all wheel settings off so it's free rotary too, a bit of getting used too, but I can cruise, stay in lane, overtake and drive very good with that setting.. it's responsive and accurate tracking with all wheel settings set to 0. Give it a try. I just hate any game that gives a stiff feel and centers, I feather my wheel I want it to remain in peak condition. Vibration dies on controller after a few years so definitely would wear the motor and loosen the wheel especially with all ffb on.
@@OCDFarming If I hook the wheel up to a PC for the g hub and change the default settings would it carry over when I plug it in for a console, or would it calibrate again and default me? 🤔
@andrewdogza5303 I got it to work once and never could again and that's why I returned my g29 or whatever and got a thrustmaster t248. Shouldn't need a PC to set up a steering wheel for console that's just bs imo.
Another good video man! Yea i think we are doomed on console for truck driving games. I havent played Fernbus yet but from watching you graphics look great for driving sim. So keep that switch the bus for a truck and people for pallets and boom decent truck game lol. Also yes would like American trucks. I love the Kenworths and Peterbuilts but if there EVER is a good game for console i wouldnt care at this point.

Lol but yeah I played a bit of it and it looks God awful I will say the steering for me atleast is a bit better than on the road. I think I use 360° turning rotation if I'm not mistaken and was a little more controllable lol but yeah it does seem pretty poo poo
Yeah since playing fernbus I find On the Road horrible to play. I bought truck driver when it first come out, downloaded it the other day and my save wouldn't play. So started new game and lasted about 10 min then uninstalled it 😂 The Truck Driver American Dream meant to be a bit better graphics wise. But yeah just a bit crap on consoles for trucking games 🙁
@simplygamingps5 yeah on the road is awful! Only thing good about that is how big the map is and the mirrors lol but yeah fernbus is the only decent Euro one I've seen so far imo. And I was gonna get American Dream but was 40$ on sale still and heard that the game pretty much ends when the story ends. Truck Driver I heard is a little more longer gameplay. But I guess we'll see if I can even get far. I Hope it actually saves!
@ThaGangu this one took me way less time than say Big Flats, Texas or Alma, Missouri. It all depends how close you are from the shop and how much money & stuff you want. This one I started with $3million but the bigger maps with bigger fields I usually start with with around $7-8 million. It is very overwhelming at first. Only thing I can say to help is to YT tutorial everything you don't know how to do and go from there. When I 1st started I had no idea about mods and govt Subsidy signs. Took me a few weeks to get into it but once I did, I never looked back. By far the most addicting game in the world. If every game got removed except for this game, I'd be okay with that.
Yea I think I might give it a shot again. I put a good bit of hours in but was doing the platinum expansion with the logging. Was cool but got burned out on it. I think I'll change the season thing so I can grow what I want whenever, should be better starting out farming for me. Thanks for the input man. Also ready for your truck driver series!
@ThaGangu it's a blast and is alot better without seasons you can plant whatever you want whenever you want. But yeah I get burnt out from the logging too and am actually thinking about starting up Silverrun Forest again. Cool map. But yeah Truck Driver Ep #1&2 will be posted tomorrow sometime. I played about 40 mins of it and it's not bad, doesn't look the greatest but not bad. So far lol
