VicStrip eco-friendly "wood" veneers are actually wood-free, made from laminated PET produced mainly from plastic bottles. We include very small screws with the product, which are required for some installations such as a ceiling.
It all depends on the purpose of the room and the dimensions of the room. Ideally it should be overall walls and ceilings. In large public spaces such as this, ceiling treatment is important for noise build-up, while rooms for sound reproduction require mostly wall panels. In this canteen you can see acoustic panels both in the ceiling and the walls. For better advise use our project request page: vicoustic.com/project-request
If it's a Cinema Round Premium, you can mount to wall by fixing velcro to the fabric edges of the panel (never to the foam). If it's a Cinema Round only in foam you can't use velcro, since it doesn't adhere to foam.
Each room has its own features and goals. We would need to analyse it to give you a proposal. You can request a project to our team at: vicoustic.com/project-request
Thank you for your words of encouragement. Yes, our Distributor is Focal Naim America and they have over 70 resellers in Canada. You can find them on the link: vicoustic.com/where-to-buy
Nice overview... very complete and concise without being overtly long and full of "fluff" content. It really sums up the basic rule... you need to treat the room itself (acoustically) and not just rely on the best speakers you can afford. Save some cash for treating the room. I have a less than optimal room setup, but with the right acoustic treatments and some adjustments of the speakers have gained acceptable results. Heavy curtains, an area rug and a few home-made acoustic wall panels went really far in helping things out. I'm lucky to have a "natural" (natural to the room that is) main dispersion with a large 8x8' rubble stone fireplace behind my main seating.
Thank you very much for this very informative review ! I will definitely buy the Vicbooth ultra SPB63D. I'm a voice-over actor. I already have Primacoustics absorption panels (Broadway) that fix into the walls with a plate and screws, and I will also fix bass-traps if necessary. I'd like to know if it's easy to screw into the walls of the vicbooth (whose thickness I don't know) so that it stays solid and supports the weight of the panels. Thank you in advance for your reply.
We suggest you buy a VicBooth with our acoustic kits of Cinema Round Premium, that can be fixed to the booth with the VicFix system on the walls. We don't advise you to screw into the walls of the VicBooth (whose thickness is only 1.1"). Learn more about our Vocal Booth Kit: vicbooth.vicoustic.com/ultra/product/vocal-booth
Thanks Vicoustic! In this case, for the voice-over, it seems to me that the appropriate panels would be Cinema Round Premium (to absorb more low frequencies) but I can't find any information on how to fix these to the walls of the booth. Which mounting model should I use (there are different ones and I'm getting confused)? Do you have a precise link for the type of mounting that would be suitable for round premium cinema panels?
@@fredextrasuper329 Hello again. The booth needs to come with walls with the VicFix system and you can add the Cinema Round Premium with VicFix Base to mount on the VicFix. The Acoustic Kits (CRP+VicFix Base) are available on our website: vicbooth.vicoustic.com/ultra/product/vicbooth-ultra-acoustic-pack1 You can buy the Vocal Booth: vicbooth.vicoustic.com/ultra/product/vocal-booth Or you can configure your booth with Sides with VicFix and add the Acoustic Kit. For a direct assistance, please contact us on the chat of the website.
These are fine, but then you need multiple plugs nearby and a place to hide multiple large transformer boxes. Even IKEAs lights allow multiple lights to simply plug into 1 small box with 1 plug.
You can use the lights that you want, Vicoustic only developed the acoustic panel VicStrip, which can be combined with LED strips that you need to buy to another manufacturer, we don't develop lights.
For the actual sound improvement, just hear the voice of John Darko saying how Vicoustic changes everything: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lVfxxUEhmnQ.html
Are the outward-facing surfaces paintable? I saw a video of your products at the Audio Advice RU-vid video "Vicoustic Acoustic Treatment Options Overview & Comparison", timestamp 8:43.
Hi. 👋 I want to change my room in the future it's 2,61m wide and about 4,22m long. It's height is 2,48m. I know its a small room but i want to use it alone, so i think it will work. The only 2 questions i got are: Will they also work for a Microphone. Or is this a different technology. I want to use them for home cinema and music production. Also what do you think how many panels will i need, is more better? I will place a big bed in there tho but the walls will be only prepared with your panels. I also have a carpet. Thank you. I know that my chances of someone reading this are very small but who knows...
We suggest you request a project to our team analyze the dimensions and features of your room and send you a recommendation for the projects. You can request a project at: vicoustic.com/project-request
What we can say is the result is very very very good for our best performing sound absorbers. We've been reducing the price following optimizing production and increasing volume production.
I don’t understand why there are diffuser panels immediately behind the listening position… don’t they need 3m gap to scatter reflections as at this distance the full sound energy is hitting the ears? 🤷🏼♂️
The panels behind the listening position are not diffusers, it's Wavewood Ultra Lite and Cinema Round Premium sound absorbers. We only used Multifuser DC3 in the ceiling.
