Only free-market capitalism, or some approximation thereto, is able to turn all of this waste into something positive. And it would! If it were present. But it's not.
In China people no longer use bikes, they moved to scooter, electric scooter, you can see them every where, maybe only 1 or 2% people use bikes, you can see it by the parkings. 15-20 years ago it was for bikes, now , no more bikes, only scooters.
I have a hard time even wrapping my head around this. My wife thinks I'm nuts because my son and I have about 20 bikes at the house. But we either ride them or restore them to hold onto in our collection (a few to resell).
🕵️How would it be if the government intervened here to sell these products to the population in the outlying regions of China at the manufacturing cost price and a small financial support? A rent-to-own contract could also benefit this. Another possibility would be if these electric cars could be exported to developing countries where the market is not yet saturated and they provide a useful service.👌🙏

What is the battery recycling program for this industry? Haven't heard anything about it. I suppose it's carbon neutral, using wind and solar to power the electricity needed to separate all the rare earth metals?
Damn these bicycles could be sold for a dime around the world and more profit would be made instead of fields full of them destroying the earth! But no! America 🇺🇸 is destroying the earth!

I know I'm not the sharpest but why can't they throw them in shipping containers and send them around the world and sell them for, say $20 each? They ship dollar store stuff from china so I bike should be okay.
