Hey! Thanks so much for your patience-I wanted to give you a solid answer before I got back to you. I totally get the back and forth between digital and paper planning-I’ve been there! But I’ve learned that sticking with something trendy doesn’t always help with productivity. The key is finding what works for you. If it’s working, stick with it, but don’t hesitate to tweak things if it stops being effective. Here are some tips to get started with Paper planning: 1. Start with your priorities: Focus on the areas that need the most structure (work, home, or personal goals) so you’re not overwhelmed. That’s the beauty of paper planning-you can create different sections and change them up as needed. 2. Combine systems: You don’t have to choose just one! Use paper for daily tasks and a digital planner (like ClickUp or Google Calendar) for long-term projects. You get the best of both worlds. (Check out my hybrid system video for more on this!) 3. Keep it simple: Start with a basic setup (monthly, weekly, and one project section), then add more as you go. Your planner doesn’t have to be perfect right away-adjust as you find what works best for you. 4. Pick Your Planner Size: Choose a size that fits your lifestyle-consider portability vs. writing space. 5. Set Up Sections: Organize your planner into sections like calendar, goals, and tasks with dividers. 6. Create a Routine: Set aside time weekly to update your planner. @@Wendaful thank you so very much! All of this helps:) I did go with an a5 Moterm and I’m very excited, decided to get some fun things to inspire me as well (being that is one of my favorite things with digital, all the ways you can do things) but that was just it, it was like on the iPad it had to be “something” pretty! It’s driving me nuts! I made the decision to go with Crossbow Planner Co 2025 inserts for monthly and weekly. I’ll hit up the iPad for cute daily planner (just daily) and still be able to vision board and do reading journal digital. There’s just some things I like about having that tactile side is why I’m excited about my upcoming setup. I even did November and December to start sooner. For long term, the digital left me distracted but I think this way may help a lot. I can at least check off small daily things while in office at work on my 11in tablet as I work in very small work space
So essentially you connect your apple calendar to your google calendar. Then input/drag everything into your apple calendar. Which in turn syncs and updates/appears on the Google calendar?
This is AMAZING! It’s so much data to keep track of though. Have you thought about using Airtable for the records that are not necessarily tasks? I’ve tried to do this in Clickup but everytime I add any new data, it assigns it to me since I’m the only one in the workspace. Then when I look at my home/assigned tasks, it’s everything I added which says I have 100+ tasks to do, and it’s completely overwhelming.
Hi Wenda! I am using GoodNotes 6 and I'm trying to add stickers. I'm not following what you clicked to ADD the stickers. Where are you clicking to see the option to ADD? Thanks!
You have to take pictures to scan the stickers. It’s pretty similar in Goodnotes 6 as well. When you first start simply click the box with the + sign “new” to add a new notebook. The same way you would import a new planner but instead of importing you will click on scan documents and the camera will open up to start scanning. And to save them you just keep hitting “keep scan” on the bottom right corner and continuing the process.
I have a 2018 model version and i dont have the touch pad but thats fine!, my birthday is in a week and i was going to ask my dad for a bike but now im wanting this!!
Awesome review! Planning is definitely one of the key things that helps me mentally. This box is perfectly themed around my love for planning. I’m so glad I signed up with this one…super eager to have it arrive.
I totally feel you-it can be super overwhelming to start setting up a Filofax. Everyone’s set up would be different depending on what their focus is on. What are you hoping to keep track of in it? Share a bit with me, and I’ll create a video just for you!
I feel like I haven’t seen you in long long time… long time planner girl here. You are one of my finds back in the “normal” times. Wow my daughter was 2 and now she’ll be turning 11 next month where has the time gone?! Anyways happy to see you around and still an OG Planner Babe and that planner is beautiful ❤❤
Wow! Has it really been that long?! Time sure does fly! I’ve been hanging out over on Instagram but I’m excited to be getting back into a regular RU-vid groove. It’s amazing to hear from an OG planner babe like you! Glad you’re still here and stuck around!
I have this same planner and love it to keep at home on my desk. With the larger rings, it holds everything for the year and then some. I also have the Filofax Osterly in the A5; it’s a beautiful planner, too. I noticed some of your inserts are Cloth and Paper, but wondered about your top tabs, dashboard and contents from your Osterly. Do you have a shop?
Nice! Two beautiful planners!! I created the dashboard just by printing it on vellum paper, and most of the dividers and labels are from amazon here: amzn.to/3X1Tbk3 I do have a shop but it's all printables only: shop.wendaful.com
Hi sorry for the delay! I had to download the app and try it out, but it doesn’t seem like you can do this with collanote unfortunately. It’s not allowing me to drag it into another window and it isn’t copying the text neither. I am new to collanote so maybe I’m missing something but I’ve tried multiple ways with no luck.
@@Wendaful I tried it with Noteful and Collanote, and it doesn´t work. It opens the space for a new event or reminder, but it does not recognize handwriting, it just says "reminder from an image" hahaha. With collanote it doesn't allow you to drag from outside the app. The only app this method works with is Goodnotes, sadly :( But it is a game changer, thank you for this tutorial!!
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Wenda, is the bonus pre-set download still available on your blog? The link in the description is not working for me. Please let me know me know or if it’s available on your shop!
Hi this was for my 2023 planners but I’ll be releasing the 2025 planners in the late fall! I do have these planners which include the ZoomNotes version though if you’d like to try it out: member.wendaful.com/cutemidyearplanner
Oh no! Have you contacted them about this? I know when you subscribe there is an option to pick your planner size. Hopefully you get this sorted before next month’s box!
