Thanks for your comment. As mentioned in the video- there are 3 design features to this step. The #2 feature highlighted the quick release pin system in the hinges that allows the step to be taken off and removed.

I like the ramps anyway they could be wider. It's 53" between the wheel wells, why not make it equally as wide. This way mowers up to 54" could use this ramp

@@Imdustin88 Understood. While they can be made larger, we stock them in this 47" width which allows them to be universal between the vans. Its often that they outlive the van and are reinstalled into the next. We do have the ability to go larger and encourage custom orders.
No way in hell im going to be riding listening to that thing rattle down the road. Then not to mention the hassle of a forklift operator loading you with that thing taking up crucial inches on the left.
Thanks for your comment. The ramp is pretty quiet. It does make noise but the sections lock together, and it's not banging around constantly. There are also specific adjustments that can be made to avoid contact with the rear doors or surrounding equipment. Our 47" wide swivel ramp leaves about 50" of clearance in the rear doors for forklift access, which is enough for loading and unloading a 40" pallet. The internal is optional and easily accomplished, it simply involves mounting a locking position near the wheel well to support the unit as you drive down the road. Keep the questions coming! Hi Manuel, Thank you for your comment. This is a Mercedes Benz High Roof Sprinter. All Sprinters 2006+ will feature the same install. However, the install is changing in a few weeks and with this update the hardware will utilize more of the vehicle structure. Meaning less drilling and a faster/simpler install. Absolutely fantastic excellent A1 spot on installation / assembly one of the best install videos that I've have seen and that says a lot. Outstanding performance by the gentleman who did the narrative and installation of said mobile movable ramp. Only thing I didn't hear was the price at the end. When you have a good product, excellent product never be bashful to give a price estimate. People know when they see quality and outstanding craftsmanship. Even when the sequence of events establish second generation pro model. All improvements and improved and added additional apparatus items. Will be addressed and applied innovation.

I’ve now bought two of these ramps and installed them for customers. Their customer service is amazing. They even sent me a personalized video on how to fix an issue. I only have two critiques. One is make sure you have a tap and die set. The powder coat gums up the threads so you have to re-thread the holes on the mounting plate. Second is one of the bolts above the J hook was catching and not letting the ramp unlock. I had to bust the nut loose on the rubber stopper and the bolt below it, and adjust that bracket all the way to the right, so it would stop rubbing on the J hook and deploy the ramp. That issue was not covered in the video. Other than that these guys are fantastic and make an excellent product.

The short answer is about 6", 8", or 12" from your rear door, it depends where you measure from and which vehicle your in. We have some other videos that detail this further.
