Cayin had 3 years to improve the N3 pro,all they did is add another tube,same old slows processor,less power,less feature but increase in price.What is the price increase for then?less features? Same old dac? Slower processor? Welldone cayin!!😅
Hello! Please tell me, is it possible to control the iDAC-8 remotely? I plan to use it as a DAC in a stationary setup. The ability to remotely control the iDac-8's built-in preamplifier is very important to me. 🙏
Thanks for your inquiry. Regarding IDAC-8 DAC sorry to tell you it has no remote control. Instead we have another desktop DAC called CS-100DAC is standard with remote control. If you are interested please check the model of CS-100DAC.
@@cayinaudio9112 Thank you very much for your answer and your recommendation. I wanted to buy a DAC and preamplifier from a reliable manufacturer based on the AK4499ex. If you add remote control and triggers to the iDac-8, the buyer base for this wonderful device will increase significantly. IMHO
I am astonished by this product! I desperately want to buy this. But one concern is bugging me: would 2 GB of RAM suffice? Can anyone from Cayin answer?

@@iikatinggangsengii2471 Agree. But I was thinking about streaming and software updates. Later one user informed me that this doesn't have streaming capabilities. This DAP is only for playing local files. So it's okay with 2 GB RAM.

Don’t buy the set at all , why the Class A, B doesnt work with the Vaccum Tube mode as advertised at all is all gimmicks . Because i have the unit. It sounded badly no drive & Poomps for sound .
For the price range a Very Poor audio design circuit & doesn’t have even a wifi orBluetooth features built in compare to Hiby !! The screen size is so small and features are not comparable with other DAP manufacturer !!! Very disappointment in sound quality & features . Don’t Buy the Cayin N3 Ultra , is a waste f time DAP Player
Thanks very much for your inquiry. Sorry to tell you 2 people cannot listen together via the 3.5 and 4.4 mm Headphone Output. It will be only one output working that you can choose to use 3.5mm output or 4.4mm Headphone Output.
Where are all the reviews for this DAP? Does no one have a sample N3Ultra to review? I'm on the verge of buying a A&K SR35 for $649, but vacuum tubes have been really alluring to me for some time now.
I love my N8II which is the top of the cayin line yet ... I'm pretty sure this one has an even more different approach to music interpretation. Well done Cayin, reussing old military tubes to comes with this product.
I am not aware of USA based dealers that will provide the great after sales support for Cayin's. Looked into it 4 or so years... I think dealer network in Canada is stronger ?

Stunning ! Sadly, I am not aware of an established dealer network in the USA. My biggest worry about these is the after sale support..... My experience with Chinese brands is spotty at best. SIGH...
MusicTeck is based out of New Jersey and seems to stock a wide variety of Cayin products and I have purchased from them without issues in the past. However, I do not see this particular model on the MusicTeck website presently.
Those exposed metallic output terminals are quite vulnerable to shorting to the the negative output terminal or the adjacent power connector grounded body. Otherwise a nice bit of kit.....
