On the average speed cameras, on one road near me (at least according to our local press when the cameras were updated), we have cameras that are both instantaneous and average. So, if you speed past them, but then slow down to reduce your average, you can still get caught by the instantaneous check. The road previously had average cameras that were on overhead gantries arranged on a "one per lane" basis (and before that, they had Gatsos) but the new cameras are just single cameras at each check point covering the entire width of the road. Amusingly, when the "one per lane" cameras were on the road, the thing that is now a myth (as mentioned in the video) also hit the press. i.e. that if you change lanes between the cameras, the system loses track of you. At that time (many years ago now), it was a genuine failing of the system, but it has since been addressed. When commenting on the fact that people had been changing lanes to avoid getting caught, the papers reported that the road agency had "asked people not to do that."
You just said why all these are illegal, they don't follow the law they are 10% above +2, that is not what the law says there for is illegal enforcement!
I’m a bit odd, I’m clinically incapable of doing anything if it’s acknowledged as a trend, or buying popular products. Even if it’s the sensible choice, I can’t even bring myself to buy clothing with branding on it, It’s my cross to bear. For that reason alone I’m not going to be buying a VW van or a Ford van. I’ll probably end up buying some obscure vehicle that will be nothing but trouble 😂 with unobtainable spares, but at least I’ll be “different”. Acknowledging that you have a problem is the first step to recovery 😂
In Australia the rules about speedometers were changed in 2007. Since then most new cars have speedos set 7-9% fast so if you're actually doing 100km/hr your speedo can be reading 107+, which doesn't give you an excuse if picked up for being 1km/hr over the limit. Our speed cameras use laser beams to detect the speed and can be forcing the oncoming vehicle or facing the rear, which means motorcyclist can be picked up even though they don't have a front licence plate. In some areas we have average speed cameras, but I know of one set where, unfortunately, there's a rest point in the middle. Even so, plenty of people have been charged with having an average speed well over the limit.
I collected my first points after thirty two years I now know that what I was told was bullshit when I questioned the claim of jumping red lights I was told that they had a picture of my front number plate and I was doing three miles per hour I was in a truck to close to the HGV trailer in front of me can you tell me how they got my front number plate I am annoyed with myself for not having challenged the conviction tell me how did they get me unlawfully charged
What about riding on hot weather? While riding sub is directly coming on the phone, and in the case I think its not touching to the wind. You know when you use gps the phone gets much hotter and for warming it need wind; it is working fine in the case, or getting hot and shutting down itself?
I dont need to buy one, I have a better method and its free to all, " I dont speed" Speeding is for those that if they hit and KILL someone they obviously didn't care as they made the choice to speed, unfortunately there are many in Prison that made that choice.
Yes, there is a way you know the speed limit when there are no speed limit signs......street lights indicate 30mph....no street lights, no speed limit signs, then national speed limit applies. Trouble with this is most people are dumb ie They just put their foot down without thinking or looking. ie If you look for speed limit signs you will see them, but, if you are on your phone or have your brain (Small brain) switched off then you cannot see anything. ie You are dumb.
The average speed cameras do not measure speed, they measure the time at which you cross that particular camera. Along a long stretch, therefore you have a list of times your vehicle has crossed different locations. The speed between each of the cameras are later calculated and each of these and the total are arrived at. If you speed at a particular camera location and reduce the speed before you reach the second camera you could reduce the average between those two locations. So it is important to notice the distance between two adjacent cameras.
Do average speed cameras record an offence when a vehicle passes between the cameras or is it when a number plate passes? In other words, if two people stand at different cameras, and show the same reg plate to the cameras, will the cameras show an offence?
The British Empire is dying . It has no other countries left to raid for cash. It has run out of money, it has now turned its attention on the motorists. These cameras are money making schems and nothing else
Mate really helpful video. I need a bigger van. Kid, dogs, lawnmowers strimmers spades etc. Got fed up with waiting hate modern bulkheads. Got loan and put deposit down on vw. Got cold feet now. Its 2021 1.9 t30 45000 miles. Took out bank loan and it comes to £30,000 with vat (not counting interest on loan). Had three over the last seventeen years and ignored all three and got away with all three. They just threaten and do nothing because they are totally incompetent or lazy or both.

i highly appreciate this video because im saving up to buy a toyota avensis hopefully this upcoming christmas, and because i dont trust most dodgy dealers i was thinking of buying a car from a youtuber, because there's multiple different youtubers who sell cars, their channel shows their day to day life shosing what kind of person they really are, and i'd rather trust them, where i live in birmingham most of the garages are dodgy, they'll take your money for a service and have your service book fully ready and stamped by the time you come back, but im reality the bonet wouldn't even been opened and still i'll be charged for everything, but nowadays people can buy spy cams and most drives have dash cams with audio which can the thieves red handed, or instead hopefully in the future car manufacturers can put some kind of sensor inside the oil tray where you drain the oil from, or maybe some kind of meter inside the dash that shows your car is running low on oil, im probably thinking too much ahead of time, great video btw
