God I have so many memories of those wee cottages as a wee boy my papa used to own one of those cottages long time ago 20 years now some great memories

My dads last name is Ayton we have been told that our roots come from Scotland and that our family used to have a big pink castle we thought it wasn’t true because he’s Jamaican but our DNA test says we are Scottish and I now see it wasn’t a tall tale

Ah, so you know Geordie Milne. Hard worker was Geordie, didn't appear to be going/working very fast, but when you looked round again in half an hour it was amazing what he had done. He didn't look fit but he was a worker.
