I actually think this is one of the best splatoon songs ever. It evolves in such a beautiful way, as each band member begins to play and add expressive flair. I love the bass and the guitar outro is so so beautiful. Amazing. I love wet floor. They feel so much more new and saucy than squid squad.
Honestly, I don't hate the new version of this song. It gives a new and different kind of style that some people could vibe too, (Me included)! The things I love about it are the vocals and the key sounds to the song! I would recommend giving the new version of the song a chance! It has hidden beauty! 😁🙌🏼❤️
I feel like both the colour pulses are two halves of one whole. The original feels like it needs that sick bass in the background and the new version feels like it needs the sound that kinda sounds I siren (idk what to call it lol)
off the hook feels really stripped of their personality in splat 3 tbh, like i get in lore they're trying new styles but one thing i loved about off the hook was marina's mixing and sampling.. it just gave them such a unique sound that screamed off the hook
The 2024 remix isn’t that bad, it definitely sounded better in game, but it really is just super toned down compared to the original. If they really did make Color Pulse 2024 more chill to make We’re So Back sound more hype, they should’ve just switched the order the songs are played during Splatfest. We’re So Back was Off The Hook’s set opener when they were on tour after all.
