Hi I'm trying to do this I've done the rib okay but when it comes to the knit a row purl a row it doesn't look right. I've put a marker at the end of each row. Do I need to do something like turn the needles round because if i just continue it it doesn't seem right? Any advice would be great not used these needles before thanks
Hi Jenny! Normally stocking stitch is knit a row, purl a row, but when working in the round, you need to knit every row. If you watch the video tutorial at around 14 minutes in, we are at that stage in the pattern, and cover this showing that you need to knit each row! Hope that helps, Lisa x
Hi Debbie, you can find the full playlist of videos to knit our bunny in order here: bit.ly/WWWKnittedBunnies You will also need the knitting kit for our Arthur & Betsy bunnies, or the PDF pattern to complete them. They're very thorough, so this is a perfect project even for a complete beginner! Heres a link for the kit: weewoollywonderfuls.com/products/beginners-knitting-kit-rabbits
I got sherbert bought for me and I have loved making her. The videos are brilliant and so easy to follow. Just a handy tip, when doing the tail, use a brush or comb to tease apart the strands, so much quicker, easier and gives a really good curly and bushy look. Thank you again for your videos. ❤
That's correct! Our patterns are written in UK crochet terms. Our DC stitch is equivalent to a US SC stitch. For a free printable download of the conversion of stitches, go to bit.ly/WWWUKUS
Thank you so much for the clear tutorial! Super helpful. I have a question about the fastening off - does weaving it through the same hole and out somewhere a couple of times secure it off? No need to tie any knots or anything? Thank you!
Glad I watched this video as I bought this kit and started hat but as pattern read knit into back of purl stitch alas needs ripped out lol I don't feel the quality of wool is very good would like to use a better quality wool perhaps. Thanku for explaining pattern
Hi Pat, glad the videos helped. The twisted stocking stitch would look the same either way :-) A different wool option is a really good suggestion, we have used the one recommended with the James C Brett pattern for the kit 😊
We don't have tutorials for the full unicorn, as it isn't one of our complete beginner kits/patterns. If you are new to crochet, we recommend starting with a beginner kit, which are Arthur & Betsy Bunnies, Aimee the Giraffe, Sherbet the Giraffe, Teddy the Bear, or Eli & Ella Elephants, as these have the step by step video tutorials, and you will then be able to make your unicorn! The other option is to watch the Giraffe tutorials, as the unicorn has a similar body shape, so you can learn all of the required stitches etc using those! Hope that helps! bit.ly/WWWGiraffe is the link for the Giraffe playlist. Kind regards, Lisa x
Thanks, I guess we must have different patterns - I downloaded mine from the James C Brett website and that clearly says P1tbl, K1 repeat for the twisted rib. Probably won’t make a huge difference either way!
Hi! We are doing the twisted rib, which is Knit to the back of the loop, followed by a purl, repeated around for the ribbing effect. The Knit to the back of the loop does looks a little like a purl as we do downwards into the back of the stitch, but it a KTBL :-) Hope that helps! Lisa x
Thanks for the feedback! We show sewing the eye as it happens naturally, often not spot on with every stitch. We can then explain how to do it, and show that it often takes an attempt or 2 to make it perfect :-) It's also tricky working with a camera, and sewing at the same time. As a small family business giving free tutorials, we are passionate about helping people learn to crochet and sew features, and hope you found the tutorial helpful.
Hi I think I’ve misunderstood this as I’ve got to number 6, 4,dc and the edge is all wavy, I’m doing one dc in four stitches in four stitches, then 4,dc in one stitch?
Hi Zoe! It shouldn't be wavy, so you are doing too many increases. It should be DC, DC, DC, DC (so one DC in each of 4 stitches) and then an Increase, which is 2 DC stitches in one stitch. So, in the 5 stitches you're working in, you're doing 6 stitches. A good tip is to always count your stitches at the end of the round (the V shapes around the top) to make sure you're on track! Hope that helps, Lisa x
Hello! Yes it is 2 increases on each round. The tutorial is designed to go with our Daisy Duck Kit or Pattern which you can find below :-) Kit: weewoollywonderfuls.com/products/easter-mystery-pre-order-crochet-kit PDF Instant Pattern Download: weewoollywonderfuls.com/products/pdf-crochet-pattern-daisy-duck-family
It is tricky to start with. Tips: make sure you don't spilt the yarn as you work, as then it becomes caught and won't pull through. Also watch the video closely, a lot of people make the mistake of pulling the strand's end first - don't! Make sure you grip the base firmly, then pull one of the two loops (one will pull, the other won't) to make it into one big loop, then pull the strand end! If all else fails we have an easier cheat version, so try that! Bit.ly/WWWCheatMC
Do keep trying, it's the hardest bit, the rest is easy 😊 We've a fabulous Facebook group worth joining, lots of help and support, request to join our Woolly gang at bit.ly/WWWGroup
We do have some clothes available as a free pattern on our website weewoollywdonerfuls.com, there is a jumper, hat scarf and dress. They are called'festive outfits' but can be made in any colours! Lisa x
Hello! Learning crochet is tricky and does take practice - but you can do it! It seems difficult as first, but once you get the hang of it, you will be making lots of cute toys. There is a playlist with all of the Giraffe videos in order, so follow them, and keep practising :-) We have had several children your age learn, so please don't give up :-) Type bit.ly/WWWGiraffe into your computer as the website address, to take to you the videos. Keep going! Lisa x (Mrs Wee Woolly Wonderfuls!)
We have a video showing Teddy's arms being sewn on, link below! The biggest trick is stuff the hand quite firmly, the arm lightly, and to NOT stuff the top 2-3cm of the arm, this really helps them to lie flat, and not stick out! Hope that helps! Lisa 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gEeYa2w0CxY.htmlsi=1y--4yhjim7SVd5J
Hi Julie, we don't unfortunately. But lots of left handers have learnt using our videos by holding the hook in their left hand, and working anti clockwise instead of clockwise 😊
@@juliee1423 Glad you are - keep going, you'll soon be crocheting with ease! Our Facebook group is really good for tips and help (and woolly fun!). Request to join us at 'bit.ly/WWWGroup' Lisa xx

Hiya, on this video we talk through the making the muzzle and ears, as they both use techniques and stitches we've already covered in the videos, when making other parts of Teddy the Bear. So simply use the techniques learned, and follow your patterns :-) Hope that helps! Lisa x
Hi Lesley, there is normally one plastic marker, and also one silver coloured bunny marker in the kit, if either are missing email us at weewoollywonderfuls@outlook.com with your address, and which marker is missing, and we can send the missing one out :-) We also sell lovely sets of stitch markers on our website at weewoollywonderfuls.com (enter stitch marker into the search box) and lots of very cute sets and tins of markers should come up! You can also just use a paperclip or a short strand of yarn to mark the place if you're in a rush! Hope that helps, Lisa x
I have tried a dozen or more times to create the magic circle and it just will not pull through the second loop. I am normally a person who learns this sort of thing very easily so I am so frustrated by my failure to complete this basic starting point. HELP!!!
Hi Lesley, the Magic Circle is the most difficult part! If it's not pulling through the 2 most common reasons are: 1.When you're pulling the yarn through on your hook, it could be splitting and if some if caught it will prevent it pulling through. 2. Often people pull the end of the yarn first, leaving a large loop which will then not pull through. You must hold the base firmly, and then pull one loop larger by pulling the loop that will move. When the loop has closed, next pull the end of the yarn and your circle will close. If you still struggle, we have an easier cheat version, still works perfectly, it's just not quite as neat. Try this method: bit.ly/WWWCheatMC This should solve the problem, but any more questions, do ask, we want to get your crocheting! Lisa x PS It's also well worth joining our Facebook Group which has help and support (and woolly fun!), request to join here: bit.ly/WWWGroup

I’ve finally finished her and I love it so Much! Just a quick question, were there crochet terms US or UK? I want to do more but can’t remember which one this was ❤
Hi! It could be that you're either inserting your crochet hook from the inside of your work to the outside, instead of from the outside to the inside. Or that you're working anticlockwise instead of clockwise (which can often happen if you're left handed). Check if it's either of these. It's no problem to flip at the end, it can only be tricky if it's a small tube shape you're working on. If you're still struggling to see why it's inside out, you can video a short clip of you crocheting and email it to weewoollywonderfuls@outlook.com and we'll have a look! Lisa x
Thank you so much, Yes, I think i am inserting my crochet hook from the inside! Was quite difficult to turn the arm the right way afterwards 😂let’s see what I can do with the second arm. Thanks again, much appreciated.
The hardest part if the magic circle. It takes some practice, but you will get it, and then the rest is easier. Most of the Giraffe uses the same stitch :-) If you struggle with it, check out our video tutorial for the Cheat Magic Circle, it's a simpler way that will get you started!
@@Ryxn.h Take it slowly, and make sure you follow each stage carefully. Also be careful not to split the yarn as you work, make sure you get the full strand on your hook, as if part gets caught it can stop it pulling through later. Try the easier 'cheat' version. It does look quite as neat, but it will help get you started! Heres the link to the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H02yYGExUKM.html
@Ryxn.h the above link is for the Cheat Magic Circle. Here's the link to the Giraffe Videos, they are designed to accompany our Giraffe Kit or the pattern, so you will need either of those. If you need a link for those items, let me know! The kit contains everything you need, or the pattern is just a few pounds 😀 Bit.ly/WWWGiraffe
The pattern is just for the Eart Day Polar Bear and World, sadly we dont have one for a topper. If you search online hopefully you should be able to find one :-)
