I have a doubt, so 3:40 if current could flow through capacitor C and diode D2 and load then what is the use of the circuit, it should block the negative half cycles nah ????

Why T1 get shorted ? If shorted due to inductors high negative on anode Then same we can say for D1 having more high on cathode due to inductor... Means D1 also get shorted n?

You are right, that is how I am trying to derive the avg voltage but the notes my professor gave me are saying Vm/pi*cosa, half of what you say and I derive on my paper. It is odd

It is a controlled rectifier.

It is a bridge rectifier but it is called controlled bridge rectifier

just one doubt, isn't Vo supposed to be 0 when the pulse is fired since when SCR is ON the voltage across it tends to 0

How you solve this one sir? A single-phase full-bridge fully controlled thyristor rectifier has a RLE load. The following specifications are given: 𝑉𝑖 = 230 2𝑠𝑖𝑛 100𝜋𝑡 , 𝑅 = 4 Ω, 𝐿 = 40 𝑚𝐻, 𝐸 = 80𝑉, and firing angle 𝛼 = 30°. Use Fourier Series to calculate the following: (a) The average output current. (b) The rms output current. (c) The power delivered to source E. (d) The input power factor

Hello there, want to start by appreciating the effort and impact you have made on many myself inclusive over the years. Thumbs up! I have a question regarding this video on FLC based MPPT, I followed the exact same step as you did here, run the simulation but i ain't getting same result as you. The view from my scope is a single vertical line. i have tried it over and over again still can't get it. in the earlier part of the video u made mention of flow chart and there are some formulas for power and error, where exactly are we inputing them? and lastly please how do i view the ouput voltage and power? Really looking forward to your reply, Thank you.
