Great question - You can't install it without the box, but there are a couple of ways that you can conceal the box. One is to "reverse mount" it, as many of our customers do with outdoor TV enclosures. On website it lists some Specs Sheets: Click link and the spec sheet header is for a 'Rollac' (which I thought was a different company.) 'Apex' shutters list 'hurricane' then: Florida Building Code: FL 12528. Great! What the heck does that code mean though? Google to the rescue! Only I can't find any reference to such a code despite Googling different phrases. Nothing. So know I don't know what to think about this company.
Ever given any thought to a slim version for automotive use? Campers, work vans, etc.. Large pool of tradesmen working out of vans with unwanted windows. We're stuck welding wire fencing on the inside. Exterior roll downs would be twice as nice since they'd keep the solar heat out & deter criminals who might otherwise break glass to gain entry...

I invested in one of these scams. Even put my sons college money into it. They lie lie lie about the profit you can make. We're flat broke. This industry is saturated and dying. Also, our customers hated the fact that we used generic screens on iPhones.
