Lawn care advice and tips for anyone that wants a better lawn. I wil also be willing to share my thoughts and my misstakes that cost me in the long run.
The steel will give you almost the same wear as the grouser did to start. Main thing is when tracks are slipping they are wearing down faster. When My Uncle taught me to run a track vehicle in the 70's he said think of it as spinning a tire. Slow down to get more traction. For the price of scrap yard rebar you can't beat the value.
Imagine having to deal with thousands of Talo trees in southwest Louisiana. I wonder if the cutting wheel could be wider, maybe shaped like a disk or drum. Thanx for sharing.
@@Hangnail-vb1zz if the,wheel it wider than machine will need to be bigger. Then your actually running it with a remote and your body dose not feel tar and feathered, as is most certainly did after that day for me.
Just red that, so your telling me all motorcycles are electronic all motor sports are electronic and motor lodges only allows electric cars. And the motor cade for President Trump is electronic. I think that rule may be only in your head. Thanks. ASE since 1988.
@philthelawnman Oh yes you can whack an aluminum head with a hammer, when it is a brass or wooden hammer, and on top of that I was agreeing with you while poking fun at those couch weekend parts replacers, not You, but since you came back with an attitude read on if you dare. ASE Certification only proves you read a book, paid a lot of money for a piece of paper that only proves you spent a lot of money on a test and passed it with an open book afterwards. My original comment is accurate. It is called a Technical Scientific truth. I didn't make up the rules I just learned them. Motors run on electricity, if you plug it up it is electric, however light bulbs are electric but they are not motors or engines. Engines run on some kind of Fuel you have to pour in some sort of liquid to keep it running. Steam engines run on wood and water although technically speaking you could replace the wood with a heating element and a battery but it would still be an engine. Don't go through life arguing incorrect points of view based on sellsmanship buzz words and commercial fluffing up to get more sales and other similar hook words. As in SAVE BIG! not save a lot which would be preferable. I didn't mean any disrespect like you took it to be. Being over 55 yrs old, I'll bet I have built more starters alternators heads engines gasoline and diesel, transmissions, manual and automatic, ac compressors and systems, carburetors . . . on Every make and model there is, Hudson Hornet, Jensen, MG, Fiat, MercedesBenz, Jaguar, Chevys, Pontiac, Cadilac, Ford, Dodge, Plymouth, Chrysler, Kia, Toyota, Mitsubishi, BMW, Lexus, all except a Rolls, but I did put brakes on 1 back in the 1990's when I learned they are sealed only to be serviced by Rolls Royce Technicians. Have great time Mr ASE Certified. P.S. Yes Jensen made a car, it's a European model that looks like a boat with wheels. Damn thang will go faster than it is safe to drive over here.
Your engine in your video is without a doubt is a 350 with a 4 inch bore and 3.5 inch stroke. Google the casting numbers for the block and heads. If it's a 010 block it they've been around since the late 60's into the 80's for 3 different engines in the late 60's the z28 302 which is a 4 inch bore and 3 inch stroke, a 327 which is a 4 inch bore and 3.25 inch stroke and then the 350 which is what you have 4 inch bore and 3.5 stroke. 302,327, and 350 from cars have 2 bolts on all the main caps Supposedly a late 327 from a truck has 4 bolt main caps for the crank but I've never seen one for myself Truck 350's will have 4 bolt main caps.
Well you need a dial indicator to find tdc to measure the deck height. From there you could rotate the crankshaft until the indicator bottoms out. Unless you know the deck height you can't really measure that way. So, stock 350 has 3.48" stroke. The builder could have reground the crank 0.010" and add some stroke or take some away depending on how you center the crank in the lathe. More than one way to skin that cat.
@leonidas953 4 inch bore and 3.75 stroke actually makes a 383cid stroker, it is a 350 block with a 400 crank Other combinations used is a 400 block but destroked with a 350 crank makes a 377cid or a 400 block with a 327 crank makes a 350cid
4 inch bore and 3 1/2 inch stroke = 5.76593923 litres. Technically 351.8592 to answer the question " what engine is it ?" It’s a broken engine. 😂 oh and if you measured the stroke wrong and it has a 3.48 inch stroke it would make it a 350.😮 😮😮😮 0.7854×4×4×3.48×8=349.848576 cubic inches. I've made all the calculations and I've calculated that you don't know how to read a vernier caliper correctly. 😂😂😂 350 chevy 😂😂😂
@@mymusicaccount1456good spotting. It is a dial caliper. But go goggle dial vernier caliper and let me know what the technical difference is ? Maybe they are named different in different countries. I'm in Australia. I'm guessing your in the u.s . Anyway good spotting and get back to me with the answer.
@@cosmicslayer2563 so the difference is a dial caliper has a round dial as the name implies, it can be read directly. Vernier it's a system where you have to "line up lines" too get your results. If you've ever used a set of non digital calipers, then you know to get the 001mm or 0001 inch number you have to line up the lines on the cylinder. A vernier is just a linear version of that. By the way, I don't need Google, I've worked in manufacturing for over 30 years. Hey if you're from Australia, you probably live in cat head, because not many people live in dog head territory?
@@mymusicaccount1456well if you spent one minute to look up dial vernier caliper you would see lots on the internet. You trying to tell me that the internet is wrong? And what's cat head? Were you trying to insult me? Are you saying that nobody in the world and the internet included refers to a caliper with a dial a dial vernier caliper? If this is so I need you @mymusicaccount to stamp out this internet lie. I will leave this up to you. You and your dog head will think of something for sure. 😊

It is a cast iorn engine. 10: 1 flat top and 64 cc heads 194 valve intake you have a 375 hp with only a mild cam and good mileage. 350 ci 4 bolt main. 🔩
