I'm a little inesperto in my music production I would like to know how to adjust controller measures you see you have very fluid advice. For me, please,
Does it work with PS4 or PS5? Edit: Whoa, $200?! Budget?! 😂🤣 Whoever makes that thing should consider a class that better illustrates their quality. With “budget” attached all I see is a piece of overpriced gear with an on/off switch.
This didnt work for me =(. i am trying to route audio from ableton to discord while having my focusrite play the audio and take input from my mic. the only way i have had the audio come through the stream in discord is to switch ableton to the orginal driver mme/directx. but then the audio comes through my speakers instead of my headphones. that gives me latency then i cant play along to the song while sharing it in disocrd.... perhaps im doing something wrong. ill keep trying it.
Thank you for this. I use Studio Pro, and I've never been able to capture it into OBS. I've tried downloading dozens of different software, virtual cables, etc. Maybe I'm just too stupid to do it correctly! But ReaStream is extremely simple and straightforward to set up and it works! Again, much thanks for this video.
Hey I have been trying this on my own for quite some time but the audio coming into discord is terrible / nonexistent. Almost as if its filtered off coming through a telephone speaker. It works perfectly with OBS but with discord it just doesn't work properly is there any way to fix this
Do I need to manually start OBS each time I would want to chat with friendsat Discord? Can I somehow avoid that somewhat annoying need to do manual clicks each time? How is that possible to make OBS always run on background, so that I don't have TO BE ALWAYS NEEDING to manually launch it first in order for my mic to work?
Social media are exactly like a drug dealer. They promise you it's going to be great to get you in the door and they offer all kinds of inducements to keep you coming back until you're hooked, then they start giving you less and less while demanding more and more from you. They started off making it look like you're going to be so well connected to the interesting people in your life and you end up years later doing backflips just to get two likes and be like "Yeah! Two likes!!"
❤ need more of these. And right there with you on the more direct forms of communication like emails. For my work, good old fashioned thank-you notes in the mail and even quarterly newsletters in the mail to my best collectors have proven to be exponentially important to me and my work.
Thank you Michael 🧡 planning on more vlogs for sure! Big fan of your art and that’s such a great way to stay connected with your collectors and add that personal touch!
I wish it had a usb c for headphones so I could plug my iems in through my 4.4mm dac. Literally the most minor nitpick as it's not necessary, I'd just like the audio consistency between everything I use them with
I thought for a while the only downside to it compared to something like the Scarlett 2i2 is that it needs external power. Then I realized I was just dumb and that this is just an option, and that ended up being an extra plus because now I know you can use it in no-computer scenarios (I probably won't, but still). From what I've read and seen, they both perform really close to each other, but Volt 2 edges it out by having these extra things like the 5VDC power and MIDI IN/OUT. And if you prefer the UA tube preamp emulation over the "Air" setting on the Scarlett, that's an extra edge, too. The Volt 2 also came with a pretty nice plug-in bundle, so there's that.
You are one of those few who knows what you're doing. Your solution gave me an idea to fix my problem. My audio output device was also adding a lag somehow in my input mic. I fixed it by switching my output device while recording and did all the other things you mentioned, issue is fixed. thanks so much!
Im trying to figure out what went out while I was in the middle of recording! its like my volt disconnected from my Mac... I have no idea what happened. Its as if its on still but I cant find volt under sounds in my settings to reconnect it. somebody? anybody? help?
Hey man, have you ever had issues where you go to hit “undo” and instead of undo-ing what you did, the undo bar just says “change threshold 1” or something completely different? And then you’re stuck because now you can’t undo whatever you did? Most annoying Ableton glitch ever… also sometimes UAD plugins disable themselves for no reason as soon as I add one onto a track. Let me know if you ever experienced this
Yes you can unfreeze a track. Although once you flatten it then you can't unflatten it so I recommend you duplicate the track and deactivate the original so you can always have the original untouched.
Hi. I know nothing about producing, but I really enjoy singing. I've always recorded all my project by myself up until now with Ableton Live 11 and it always gave a pretty decent result for having my files just sit on my hard drive. But tonight (hence how I found this video) it seemed to be recording normally but then when I listen back there was a delay of my voice relative to the track that I couldn't hear when I was recording, only when listen back. I gathered the track was playing delayed and me singing over the delayed track gave the delay to my voice. I tried your methods but they didn't work. And I really didn't change nothing in the setup from back when it worked. I was wondering if you could help me more closely as I know no one that has this kind of knowledge personally. 😢
Hmm ... I wonder what changed. Good thing is 1) we can fix your current recording 2) we can take a look at your setting. Best way to do so if you join the community discord and we can chat on there discord.adilconstantine.com
@@jane_huh despite Adil being super available to help I didn't have enough time to resolve it.. and also while I was trying, a new problem arose so 😂 lucky me ahah
i just don't understand how it can be this difficult, ive literally bought a new computer from 2019, last year, and I still have latency. I've never not had it, i dont understand how after so much money spent in the 2020's how this is still an issue. Why can't i just record my vocals without this horrible latency?
