Without watching the video completely i can say that in 97 teams were working hard on 3D engine maps. Also called throttle maps by some drivers and engineers. These throttle/engine maps minimised wheel spin. What Alesi meant here was that the throttle map was bad in that corner, so he got to much wheel spin, resulting in snap-oversteer.
Why didn't Berger move over and how was Alesi at fault for criticism? The T-Car wasn't set up right and he said the brakes and throttle mapping seem all wrong. Coming from an experienced driver, I don't understand all that's being said.
Compared to its golden years, Benetton was starting to be lost in '97, technically and managerial wise. Alesi was really on track to get a good result until he crashed. '97 was the last good year of Benetton. '98 to 2001 were disastrous years.
Couldn't see the Marking that Michael Schmacher left behind after sliding into the dirt after the famous crash between Jacque Villeneuve and Michael Schmacher in 1997
Colciago should have been penalised for the first incident, the second one is normal race incident. Volvo driver's reaction, specially the second dude was as bad as Colciago first mistake, both should be banned for the next race.
Colciago had been making contact with them race after race. Was clumsy behind the wheel. Flash had every right to reacted like he did, he was in a championship fight.
He was disqualified.. And the actions of the Volvo driver is very childish. Things happen in racing, and you can complain about it, but that behaviour is just ridiculous and pathetic
I have a friend who has this car and he lets me drive it from time to time. I have to say it is an unbelievable car, the way it handles is unbelievable, feels very unique too. I really wish I could afford a car like that one day. 😂
