Thank you! I just got the game with the topper. It was late so we didn't play it much. The next day we started to play and notice the guys weren't moving. The company that setup the game was their first time setting up the topper as no one in our are got the topper. I figured they must have missed something. I googled and found your video and found out what cause it. It was the two Servo cables. The white cable was down instead of on the top. So I just flip those around to see if it worked, and boom it worked! My kid loves watching them dance lol.
I agree. I really wanted to like them. They looked awesome on Stranger Things with the UV kit. But they dirty the playfields waaaaayyyyy to much and way too quickly.
if You have a one machine only at home and You have insider, what if You already have all achievements and all that done for the game, is there any point in still using the insider or not anymore?
Yes, I can post a follow up video. I bought an after market servo on Amazon and installed it on a Twitch live stream. It took several hours and was a huge pain in the butt. That said; I could swap it out again in under an hour if I needed to. Checkout the TMNT owner thread on Pinside and we can help you out with info.
@@brokenused yeah. This is the one I got. It took some fine tuning to calibrate after install in the menu. But mechanically and electrically it was plug and play. ZOSKAY 1X DS3218 Update servo... www.amazon.com/dp/B01MU7TQV8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have used them on automobile plastic without issues. That said, it might be best to try a small area somewhere unnoticeable and see if you’re okay with how that goes before committing to highly visible areas.
I emailed Analogue about Everdrives not working & they responded saying that Pin 1 has to be grounded on the cart for the game to be recognized by the OS. This tells me that the Everdrive incompatibility might simply be due to the game title not being recognizable in the Menu. Analogue has literally withheld Everdrive compatibility for such an absolute insanely boneheaded reason such as that... I don't know who's making these choices at Analogue, but that is bout the dumbest damn thing I can fathom. I do wonder though if a mod could be done to the Everdrive by connecting Pin 1 to the ground pin with a small jumper wire & see if that fixes the problem?
Interesting. And, yeah. Odd that they made a console that would not work with everdrives. Especially since this is the first console they've released that is notorious for having rare/highly priced/hard to find second hand games. I would not have expected this compatibility issue to exist where all other consoles they have made just worked with them.
@JustMeDashV Agreed.... I really don't get this new direction the company is going in, aka less quality control & less of a focus on overall compatibility. It's like they're starting to ignore the very market they're focused in, aka the Retro market. It makes zero sense for them to not fully focus on Everdrive compatibility.
Ah. I will try it out. When it did not detect it at all, it made me think it did not work.

I’m going to install these on my James Bond. I just installed my Voo Doo grills that are the Spectre Squids. So it will be flaming evil Squids, very sinister.
I have a questionable everdrive, pretty sure it's a Chinese knock off. This trick works! Good thing I already ordered a genuine krikzz everdrive pro from Ukraine before I saw this video, haha! It's worth it for the CD audio support, gotta play Rondo of Blood somehow.
Glad it worked for both of us! And congrats on the official everdrive! I’ve heard mixed things about it working with the Analogue DUO. If you don’t mind and remember, let me know how it works out! :-)
A paper towel is perfectly fine to clean the glass. If you are scratching glass due to debris on the glass, it doesn’t matter what you use to wipe. Microfiber is soft but not magical.
Congrats and welcome to the hobby! Be careful with the playfield. Slow and steady. Make sure not to scrape the sides of the cabinet when raising and lowering. That's easy to do.
A very clear winner... now the million dollar question, Invisiglass is $240 (+ $57 for shipping) and PDI is $400 (with an extra $118 per box for shipping, 2 per box max). So for a 2 pack we're looking at $522 vs $918. That's 75% more expensive. Could it possibly be worth the extra money?
This is a hill I personally would not battle to the end on. For me the value seems to be in the Invisa or Voodoo glass in 2 sheet orders. I have not personally seen PDI nor been able to find it in stock anywhere. It could be a million times better. But Invisa and Voodoo are miles better than stock glass and good enough for me.
Sheesh, amazing difference!! I actually was at a friends house recently and he has these weird shaped plastic sheets that are attached to stop the glare. They look ridiculous 😀. I reduced the number to 15%. Truly amazing. Thanks for posting this!
No problem! Sometimes quick and cheap solutions ain't so bad! :-) I am curious about what your friend used. I am all for mods. But they gotta make it look better not worse! :-)
Your great video on lifting and lowering the playfield was very helpful for me to watch prior to installing my external volume controller, which by the way, you walked me right through. Much appreciated for a first time pinball owner (Rush Premium).
Just received my first pinball machine Friday (Rush Premium) and needed to lift the play field to install a external volume controller, your detailed video walked me right through it, thank you, greatly appreciated. 👍
