I do this very rarely when I go to the beach. I sold all the metal detectors and kept only the children's one which I bought for $25. it is small and has backpack case and works ok.

How did you get the single screw out of the middle shaft the goes to the control box? Mine has a nut holding it on from the inside (Makes me think it will just spin freely if I just try to unscrew it).
Make sure you did not cut any wires when disassemble it. Solder quality is not good, check soldered connections where cable enters inside coil. And make sure the single wire properly connected to the cover by metal tape. Cover has graphite coating.
Hi! My F2088 has lost left-shit. It was working for a week, then stopped. Keyboard testing soft shows that if I hold the key pressed there are pulses of 7-20ms of preesing registered every few seconds. This is not the problem of the switch. I tried to resolder diode, and it helped for some time. I think it is the problem with dual diod (3-pin smd). Could someone identify this component?

I wish I would have known that before I put out sll the money too get the 540 vanquish last year. I never eould have wasted my hard earned loot buying it. It was supposed to be a great advantage over my bounty hunter cheap ones. I still only use them the Vanquish is a dust collector.
Yes, it is hard to use this metal detector at the beginning, need a lot of digging to understand how it reacts on different targets. And after this, it is not difficult to distinguish modern coins from other metal trash.
В этом металоискателе я добавил резистор для подстройки грунта ссылка - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ieezkd8VLkU.html Если у вас на грунт не пищит,то это делать необязательно ( мне это было нужно чтобы искать на соленом песчаном пляже) и разобрал и проклеил катушку, чтобы не было ложных срабатываний при ударе по катушке (если катушка при ударах не пищит , то и это тоже делать не надо). Больше ничего не делал.
@@as_craft5063 понял. Да на землю пишит как су ма сошёл. И на На двух приборах ( купил детям) Не работает чуйка ( не совсем не работает чуть чуть вроде пытаетмя) и не отсекает металл мелкий.
@@vip2507 На этом приборе чувствительность я выставлял всегда на максимум, т.к. катушка у него маленькая и он сам по себе не очень чувствительный (монеты примерно 10см, 15см на большие монеты). Кроны желательно установить две и хорошие. Я всегда искал в режиме All metal в нем чувствительность самая высокая. Я его использовал только для поиска монет. Дискриминация в этом металоискателе не отсекает мелкий метал она должна отсекать все железо. В этом видео как раз показано как отсекаются железные предметы, а цветные остаются. На крупных предметах дискриминация работает очень плохо. Чтобы отсечь мелкий метал нужно регулировать крутилку Sensitivity.
