can you plug a USB-C hub into the Hohem and get power to the phone as well as other devices? Or plug a hub into the phone and connect the Hohem to the phone through the hub? The USB port is nice but I need a few places to plug in hard drive and audio interface.
You will be able to plug the charging cable from the gimbal into the phone through a hub, provided the hub supports power passthrough. Plugging a USB-C hub into the gimbal directly will not let you use the hard drive or audio interface.
Hey All Great Video Mate, short & concise I just received mine today from AMAZON Australia Question: I didn't receive the Australian type Pin Clip-On thingy for the 12v Adaptor so I can plug it into our Electrical wall sockets ...but I got the EU & UK ones instead, has anyone else had this problem ? and if you did, what did you do as I really don't want to send it back & go through the rigmarole of re-ordering over such a small item ?? Thank You All In Advance
Thanks for watching! Most of our early units came with the Australian plug missing. We stock them as spare parts in case we run into the issue again. Any 12V 1.5A DC power supply should work for you. Ideally you will want the locking collar on the barrel though, because the barrel can pop out without it and you'll likely lose power.
The M6 has more professional features like 360 degree panning, dedicated roll/focus wheel, larger joystick, and multiple 1/4" mounting for accessories. It can also take larger phones.
@@SamS-ef5ez The M6 takes devices with a weight up to 400g and a width of up to 98mm. There are too many compatible phones to list. It is true that there is no remote on the M6, but its features, I think, outweigh the lack of remote.
Is there any mixer in the under 1000 Dollar category that can handle 4K inputs. I'm totally fine if it gets downscaled to 1080p, but many cameras just look horrible in native 1080p mode.
I was just going to buy the Shark Nano, but SO glad I saw this first! I haven't seen anyone else cover the announcement of a Nano 2, so thank you so much for posting this! Great video as always.
As an Aussie Semi Pro Photographer I just sent Ifootage some really innovative ideas for their next Strike series in which I think they're going to really like 👍
Sounds great, except you can't record 4k, only 1080p. The only people who would go to this type of device are professional users and professional users are not going to accept that limitation in 2024.
Both units record H.264 video and AAC audio. The VHSDigi2 will record up to NTSC at 720 x 480@30fps and PAL at 720 x 576@25fps. The All-in-1 Recorder will record resolutions up to 1080p30. The bitrate on the All-in-1 is 16Mbps@1080p30fps. There is no bitrate listed for the VHSDigi2
Plans start at $15USD per month, and their most expensive all-inclusive plan is $45USD. They also offer a pay as you go plan that allows some free features and options to update as needed. More info can be found at cloud.atomos.com/
Nice coverage. I really like the M.2 handle. Even though I think the next gen of DSLR's will have internal M.2 slots or SSD's, that handle is one of the least obtrusive ways for run-and-gun high-bitrate recording. And someone needed to compete with the Blue Condor handle. Did you see any others there?
Thanks! I don't believe there are any other brands doing an M.2 handle for their cages. Tilta just released a focus handle, as well as an SSD mount, but no SSD handle.
Typically the easiest thing to bump is the USB cable, instead of the cards themselves. The cards are quite protected by the actual housing of the mount.
Kelvin don't have any photometrics published to compare with the MC pro. The kelvin play certainly looks brighter. The Kelvin Play has a much higher colour accuracy comparatively.
@@TheTjark57 Mc pro is 177lux @ 1m / 5600k and their flat diffuser The play Pro is 232lux @ 1m /5600k and flat diff You can see their chart on the Play Pro page under photometrics and color quality Haven't tested anything myself as I have not received my kit yet
Pronounces "component" with the stress on the correct syllable, but puts it on the wrong syllable in "composite" despite them being spelled almost identically...
Yo PLEASE more anamorphic lens content! I’m total DYI’r and have been scope and kowa glass with vintage and newer manual (Amazon) glass for taking lenses. The results are totally cinematic and dope and I love them! Help share your DP knowledge with the rest of us hobbyist trying to make good content in fromt of the masses…. 😮
Nice works guys! You mentioned 2.39:1 but you were showing footage shot with a 16:9 sensor instead of using the 6:5 readout. Which funny enough really only blackmagic Camera do natively. 4:3 and 3:2 need to crop heavily to achieve 2.39:1 when using a 2x anamorphic.
Good spot. I did shoot some native B-Roll on the BMPCC 6K Pro but it seems I've forgotten to include the native 2.39:1 footage with my B-roll. All of the B-Roll shown was shot on an FX30 or an R5C with adapter. Hope you enjoyed the video regardless! - Eddie
I have been a customer of Videoguys for sometime, good to see you are recommending gear you have tested. I have 3 EZCap devices and it appears none are now working . As with a professional video Business I have converted in the region of several hundred VHS recordings to either DVDs or hdds , the former via the 3 NEC, JVC, or Panasonic recorders, each of which do not have facilities for USB or SD card or external hdd outputs, this now being a nuisance in having to utilise computers. It would appear from your RU-vid presentation that you have the product I need. Would you please comment and advise if I can order the more suitable unit (forgotten the model.) Hi Nigel, It sounds like you're after the EZCap All-in-1 Recorder. Here is a link to it on our website: www.videoguys.com.au/Shop/p/45005/ezcap-all-in-1-capture-device-for-component-and-composite-video-ezcap284.html
i have purchased wireless go 2 charging case i have some question's for u what happens when the mic battery is full..?? does it stop charging thr mic anf auto shut off that particular mic charging process... or doest it continue to charge the micand the mic led stays on?? with my cases, everything seems to stay on (blue lights stop blinking but stay solid blue, and on the receiver, the display is still on, showing a full battery icon. Doesn't seem to be right... i have purchased rode wireless go 2 ... need to update charging case ???
Make sure your Wireless GO II's are turned off before plugging them into the charging case. If the Wireless GO II's are still on you the case will try to charge them first before charging the case itself. Please see RODE's guide on the charging cases for more info: rode.com/en/user-guides/wireless-go-ii#section-charge-case-for-wireless-go-ii
@@videoguysaustralia thanks .......I have found the problem ... Actually one of my transmitter n receiver have battery issue ....Ones the fully charged ..they lose their battery percentage by ...10 % with in 5 sec That's why this power case try to charge they all the time I need to replace the battery of my transmitter n receiver 😑😑😑😑 Or do u have any solution on this ???
The mic capsules that are built into the Wireless PRO transmitters are very similar to the ones in the Wireless GO II. However, the 32-bit float and included Lavalier II's should be a major improvement to overall quality.
Rode really stepped their game up with at 32-bit floating and timecode feature. Great review on the features, but I wish you could have shown the visual applications and demonstrations of the things you were saying, such as visually showing the locking connectors and how it works, and other features you talked about as well. I'm a visual guy, so it connects with me more when I can see the applications along with what is being said. Please forgive me for anything I said that was offensive in any way.
With the time code feature, are these units able to sync time code from a "master time code" device such as tenticle sync or Deity TC-1? Or can other devices sync their TC from the Rode units?
Rode have confirmed with me that the Wireless PRO is a timecode generator. You can jam sync other devices with it but it will not receive timecode - Eddie
I've been hoping for 2 years that the next Wireless Go generation would get true 32 bit float and eventually built-in time code. Finally it's here and the many different time code modes sound very well thought out and cover almost all wishes. However, I have to ask myself whether it is possible to change the time code mode during operation? So in time code mode 5, can you jam sync cameras with time code input or other external time code generators and then switch to another time code mode so you can control the sound of the transmitters while recording?
Rode just confirmed with me that the Wireless PRO is itself a timecode generator. You can jam sync other devices but no word on changing timecode mode mid recording - Eddie
