The reason it was listed in the intolerable acts wasn’t because they hated the French or Catholics so much. It was because of the simple fact that the 13 colonies were people escaping religious persecution to which the British basically fallowed them and kept it going. Only for them to turn around and tell the Quebecqua that they could do whatever they liked but everyone else still needs to obey the king as the head of the Cristian church. If they really hated the French and Catholics so much why did they send so many big name leaders to try to persuade the French crown into siding with them? It wasn’t so much the attitude of F the French. It was more the attitude of “so that was an option this entire time?!?! So why ware you guys such A-holes to us about it?”
Most talentless AAA game devs probably got wise enough to stfu on social media whenever an unknown game studio blows up in popularity cuz they focused their game to be a fun and memorable experience first and foremost ever since they got absolutely clowned on by the Internet over the Elden ring fiasco.
We been winning space warfare already....when we took out our OWN satellite, just to show the USSR we could do it to theirs.... We did that with a jet, the f15 shot down a satellite WHILE IT WAS STILL IN SPACE
In Switzerland, the public gets to vote on the designs of the bills. So no, the elites are not in charge of the bill's design. In fact, with our direct democracy, no elites make any decisions. the public does. we vote every 3 months on issues and laws.
He's right, English language shares a root language with the German language. We borrow a lot of high words from the romantic languages and there's nothing wrong with that.
I mean napoleonic era line formations is realy not this magical archaism: from the beginning when gun was introduced it had this glaring problem of "I have shot my load now what?" Line formations fixed that in creating effectively an assembly belt of different stages of reloading which would turn the entire unit in to MG. If you would be trained in something you know is proven to work and you know everyone else uses would you use it? Or try to tinker eith some new stuff that could or cold not work or maby needs some new tech or refining but is most importantly untested
The best comparison to Cowpens I can think of was the Battle of Cannae during the 2nd Punic Wars. From the false collapse of the middle to the encirclement by cavalry (or in Cowpens, dragoons) resulting in an enemy being completely decimated. Cowpens was essentially the American Cannae.
