I just wanted to let you know I am going to try your slaw recipe this week. I went to an orchard in north Georgia over the holiday weekend and they had HUGE cabbages. I bought one that is 13.5 pounds! I will have plenty to make several different cabbage dishes including coleslaw. I thought you’d get a kick out of that.
Those Reese’s cups look amazing. You’re SO right about the name. It drives me nuts too. That’s hilarious. I was laughing as you went off on that subject. I was saying, “yes! You’re right. Tell them Joy.” 😂
I’m ready to call those people myself and complain about them not fixing your oven!!! I’ll call from Georgia telling them I’m your “granddaughter” and they MUST take care of your oven. I know that is so frustrating. I’m sorry you’re still feeling so poor! What’s your favorite grocery store out there? I find great deals at Lidl, but I often go to Kroger and Publix for my meat. I miss the old school butchers.
Dear Mammaw Joy, 🙏♥️🙏 So sorry you are going through so much, I pray and think about you all the time. I’m gonna pray even harder!! Much Love, Patricia
One of my favorite meals to cook is egg roll in a bowl. It’s so easy and tasty! Chop up some cabbage, onion, carrot and pepper and cook it with some olive oil. Add some ground beef or turkey and brown it completely. Those veggies will flavor the meat. Oh, I almost forgot…use some garlic powder, onion powder and ginger when you’re cooking the veggies. After you add the ground meat, use some soy sauce (low sodium is fine) and mix it all together. It’s delicious! You can also use a bag of pre-chopped cabbage slaw mix if you don’t have a whole cabbage.
You look great! I’m sorry you’re still not feeling 100%, but it’s so good to see you back in your kitchen. Medications are sometimes the trickiest part of recovery. Continued prayers for you to get back to feeling like yourself!!!
Looks delicious 😋. I couldn't take Metoprolol either, my Dr switched me to lisinopril, it makes me cough a little. I believe I feel bad sometimes because of some my medications. I just wish there were organic stuff we could take . I'm hungry now😊. Have a wonderful and blessed night 🌙
So you peel them first. I just got done cooking some with the peel on. Oops. Will have to wait until they cool to see what I do now. I'm a guy, what do I know.
She’s the cutest little thing! So much personality! And you can tell she has the gift of cooking. She’s a natural! I’m glad you’re taking such good care of Mamaw Joy. Give her our love!
Hey! It’s great to see you. I have been concerned about you. My sister and I were planning to come to Kansas to help move my nephew home for the summer from college, and I was going to check on you!!! Take care and know that I’m continuing to pray for you to recover fully.
Just several things going on with me. The stroke, endarterectomy, hematoma, hemorrhage from too many blood thinners, and a mammogram in the middle of all that for a problem. I’m doing better but still not myself completely. But prayers have sure got me through all I’ve had! Thank you for asking. Hope to be going better soon!!! Much love to you and all my subscribers!🥰💕
Hi Joy! I wanted to check on you to make sure you are still recovering well. We haven’t seen any messages from you for over a week, so I was a little concerned. I hope you are doing well!
@@cookingwithmamawjoy631bless your heart! You’ve been through a lot. I’ll be praying for you to recover fully and get back to feeling like yourself. Take care!
You are a wonder, to have gone through so many health problems in just a few months and be back making videos again already! I'm glad you're feeling better, and I hope your recovery will continue to go so well.
This is the first I've heard, yes God is awesome! You went through so much in such little time. Thank God he was with you, apparently he wasn't ready for you yet. Prayers for you that you still keep healing and keep making your awesome recipes. The recipe you made up sounds delicious and I'm gonna try it. Didalaush, I think the name fits the recipe 😊. I'm glad your out and about. Sounds like your taking care of yourself and have wonderful children 😊. I'll see you on your next session ❤
