We lived there around 10 years ago when the Bakery 2 lofts just opened. The tenants were more diverse than what you mentioned. We were there for 3 years before returning to New York City. I'm sure it's different now, as it is here in NYC. The gentrification is non stop. Every day our old affordable restaurants and shops are disappearing due to the huge rent increases. And it's no better in Emeryville or Oakland. If our place in NYC was not rent stabilized we would have been forced years ago to move from the city I was born in. Good luck, Paul
