Vereniging De Hollandsche Molen zet zich sinds 1923 in voor het voortbestaan, malende en draaiende houden van de wind- en watermolens van Nederland. Sinds 2023 bestaat de vereniging 100 jaar en is het predicaat Koninklijk verleend door de secretaris van de Koning.
De molen is een werktuig en ze helpen nog steeds met het wegmalen van water, nog steeds, vooral in deze tijd waar het waterpeil hoog staat. Molens malen graan tot meel om brood mee te bakken, nog steeds. Vooral in de corona-tijd zijn er veel meer mensen zelf gaan bakken en halen het ambachtelijke meel bij de molen. Daarnaast is en blijft het een oer-Hollands stukje erfgoed en dat moet behouden blijven. De molen is het een baken in het landschap en het is een het stukje geschiedenis, het brengt een verhaal. Mensen komen van ver om nog steeds molens te bezoeken. Niet alleen de Zaanse Schans, maar veel meer molens krijgen veel bezoek van fietsers, wandelaars, dagjesmensen. Veel molens hebben een winkel en sommige zelfs een restaurant. Dus ze brengen zeker wel heel veel op!
Als donateur kreeg ik het jaaroverzicht en daar zag ik dat jullie ook een RU-vid kanaal hebben met veel te weinig abonnees. Geen wonder, het kanaal blijkt mOlens te heten. Onder de naam De Hollandsche Molen zouden jullie veel meer abonnees hebben.
Volgens TV Noord van 11 10 2022 is de molen op de 1e plaats geeindigd. Dat is een felicitatie waard, van de Families Horlings uit meerdere plekken in Nederland. Nogmaals GEFELICITEERD.

Het herstel van Molen Ceres in Bovenkarspel gaat gelukkig voorspoedig. Enkele weken terug is de kap teruggeplaatst, nadat de rieten mantel opnieuw was gedekt. Vorig jaar won Molen Ceres de Molenprijs van 75.000 euro. Daarnaast kreeg de molen veel steun van de provincie en uit de directe omgeving.
Who exactly is this young lady and why did she make so many videos on Molens? Another interesting point here is that I noticed that the mill worker was wearing klompen. Nice touch! That is actually a very smart thing to wear in a hazardous environment like that.
I cannot understand the Dutch in the video but one thing that comes across very clearly is that the young newscaster lady is very enthused about this! She did a good job on this news clip !
