Her first guru , Sri Prakash Pandey was not only her teacher but also her mentor . Although she was learning classical music , she was always drawn to semi-classical music. I have heard this ghazal since my childhood on radio in so many master voices of Habib Wali Muhammad, Farida Khanum , Asad Amanat Ali and later on by great Indian singers.
