As an Alabama fan, I agree. Roll Tide Willie is a disgrace to Alabama football. Goes against everything we used to stand for. Winning with class, losing with class.
@@hunterbooth8578 i forgot id made this comment, I'm pretty sure it was after a couple or 13 beers lol. I personally have held a grudge against Alabama since the 2010 BCS Natty, due to the fact that not only am I a UT alumnus, I am also a member of the 2010 graduating class. My senior year, the school I always wanted to go to, that to this day still have no idea how I was actually accepted to, is in the national championship game. We've got Colt Mothertruckin McCoy as our QB1, overall team is solid AF and we have a real chance to win (I don't remember the line). We start off looking great, but then it happens. We could tell immediately his arm was gone, the angle he led with was just fckng perfect. When he couldn't lift it, you could hear a pin drop at my old house where there were probably 50 of us watching in ATX. Garret Gilbert, to his credit, entered his very first college football game to replace an injured Austin legend. But not in some meaningless game. In the Natty. Against BAMA. I don't know what was going through his head but personally, id probably have shit myself. I played qb in HS and we went to state twice, losing one and winning the other, so I do know a little about pressure and people counting on you, just not college Natty game level. He played as good a game as he possibly could have and actually made it a little bit competitive. Unfortunately for him, having to come in for Colt and us losing, he just wasn't the same again. No one at UT blamed him at all but he ultimately transferred. He couldve been great at UT had that never happened. A small part of me died that day. This year we were so close. 1 play away from our first Natty in over a decade, but it wasn't nearly as bad as that fateful day in 2010. When I say I hold a grudge against BAMA, I really don't. I don't want to see yall lose, I never root against you guys (unless you're playing Ohio, but I have to go for them bc my dad is an Ohio st alumnus.) Was it annoying seeing y'all win year after year? Sure. But like you said, it was a good program. I mean, you had the greatest coach in the history of cfb. Nick fckng Saban. Who, from everything I've seen, read and heard is not only a good man, but the kind of guy that I would trust and want my son playing for. Who wants to win, but to do so with class and on the rare occasions his team loses, he demands his players to do so with class as well. Along with the transfer portal, this NIL stuff has immediately changed CFB and not for the better, IMO. Saban wanted no part of it and I don't blame him one bit for saying goodbye to coaching. So yeah, no real grudge. Y'all are THE dynasty and it isn't even close. That said, since we aren't playing in the regular season this year, I hope we see y'all in the SEC championship, where we will be beating that ass!
@@tylerrr. hell yeah buddy, I hope Alabama has the team this year to make it to the SEC championship lol I’m optimistic, and looking forward to what the new coach will do. I do have some doubts, but best case scenario Alabama will be playing Georgia at home, if they win that game I’ll be confident in saying nobody can beat them.
Reading from sauses;) seems like our secondary was worse than we thought and the new additions are at their worst better than we were at our best last year. So we have that going for us!
I’ve been going to Rangers games since I was 12 in 1973. I lived through years of mediocrity, then came the heartache of 2010 and heartbreak of 2011. This WS has been a joy.
You know I just found him this year. Typically a country music guy but man is he good. I did a longhorn video at the beginning of the football season with the same song. Turns out fox liked him too since they used it all post season. I’m a fan!
It was wonderful to see 👀 a new team win the World 🌎 Series. The Texas Rangers finally made history. NO ifs, ands, buts, maybes, questions, or exceptions. They got their Christmas 🎄 gift 🎁 and worked hard to do that. The Longhorn/Lone Star 🌟 state is complete with Baseball ⚾️.
Omg I didn't just tear up again. All these videos of our rangers I just get teared up. I love it. U did a awesome job . I love your reaction!!!! Wave that banner because we are now the champions!!!!!!
Thank you very much for sharing this beautiful video...I had to celebrate it from a distance but the day came to see our team become champion of the world series...Go Rangers
Hearing Mark Holtz at the end got me. I grew up going to games at Arlington stadium........eating ice cream out of the plastic Ranger hats sold at the concession stands, nachos and soda in 90 degree heat in the metal bleachers of the outfield. When my family traveled to my grandma's for Summer vacation, I had a small transister radio that I would sit at the rear of her house and listem to Eric Nadel and Mark Holtz call the game....while I was sone 300 miles away from the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Thanks for making this fan's dream come❤😢❤ true after 37 yrs
Yale know. We need a new tradition. The Rangers should open the stadium in concert mode and raise the banner and have a huge party with various musical guest and the Rangers paraded on stage. Party!!
The deep ball was covered up. Quinn would have had 5 picks if he did that. He took what he had. There was too much pressure on him to even look deep most times. The offensive line was mid at best. Porous as a sponge. They just couldn’t handle the OU defensive line
eh i dont think you will find any real Texas fans that will say we are back until we win a championship. We all got those fans. Dont get me wrong this team is different to us but again, until we win the championship the REAL Texas fans dont think we are back.
I’m an Aggie fan, but i gotta say… god damn it is so fun to see a texas team take down a trash talkin bama, gotta love it, it’s our turn now, wish us luck 💯💯
Looking back at this game, no one was giving Texas a chance. Even when Bama lost, fans were treating it like the dynasty was over instead of realizing they played a really really good team.
