TS parameters are approximate from what most speaker manufacture claim, coating a subwoofer (cone) with epoxy wont hurt SQ , its a myth that only a computer wants you to see, read, and believe. and your ears are not a computer
also adding that if you can, try to inject Cyanoacrylate into each fracture (on the front) of the cone, you'll probably have to sand your work and re-apply some clear acrylic spray over the repairs, Krylon clear coat works great, / you'll want to mask around the surround before spraying. cheers!
I found that if you apply a (thin) coat of Cyanoacrylate first before applying the resin, the results will be even stronger, / do it in open ventilated areas, the Cyanoacrylate fumes will sting your eyes if too close while applying
I got a sundown zv5 10” in a custom box tuned to 32 hz. It’s powered by a taramps Smart Bass 3k. It is literally fully wired but I’m waiting for a knob to come in the mail tday. Soon I’ll be able to bump this shit on my first sub
Sand the crap out of the two surfaces and add jb weld just make shur the jb weld don't get on the coil aslo you got to make shur that you free the coil because it will pull a little so u got to center it really good or it will damage the coil and get stuck before the glue gets hard o and inspect the coil make Shure it's not burned or damaged
