they also have a dog wash there no charge. And even a washing machine for dog blankets etc.Great place to stay very clean and tidy. The surf club also have meals there. There is also a huge green space next to caravan park for sporting games, tennis courts, playground beautiful area with bbqs for a lovely day out with family and friends.
Always enjoy your videos. Just a suggestion, the sound is a bit of an issue - when you are speaking I have to turn the sound up full then when music comes on I have to turn the sound back down
We used to go camping here regularly in the 90s and no 4x4 needed. Aussies made it through mud tracks and rough roads in ordinary Ford Falcons or Japanese hatchbacks. Now everyone needs a dual cab ute or Landcruiser with better roads!
@@Bobman84 yes I can believe that.. some skills have gone. I remember my old man recovering a 4wd Subaru on a muddy track with his 1972 Mazda 1300 2nd wheel drive. We couldn’t figure out how he got stuck, we put it down to all the gear no idea. Then again some steerers need to use technology to reverse park and be warned of lane drifting.
I am homeless living out of my car. I am in Perth coastal strip NOR. I can’t afford a van with shower and kitchen, but I could afford the Winton 10. My problem is I want to hide out the beach suburbs and not travel around the state. Caravan parks are all too expensive now and full year round. Just looking for your thoughts whoever is here

This looks a great little Caravan. Very similar in size to the a-frame a vans. Very strange not to have a grey water tank seeing there is a shower. I can understand it is probably made for Caravan parks. We still use our tent a lot but in winter drives me crazy coming home having to dry stuff out. So we are just starting to look in the small Caravan camper sector. Nice review by the way
Thanks for the feedback, will keep an eye out for more small campers. Several factors come into play when deciding on your camper caravan. I like my Forward Fold as I can take it anywhere. Beaut in the High country, but still needs to be dried out if canvas gets wet /damp. Exposed locations can cause issues with tropical roof acting as a sail stressing frame and annexe. 10km plus gusts snapped our annexe poles at Fowlers Bay SA. We ended up dropping annexe and closing camper to prevent further damage ..uncomfortable night sleeping in car. Small Caravans and hybrids are good for coastal areas and exposed locations

Last time we were at Camp 1 we camped on the top level, very nice. We were there for two nights and were amazed at the number of vehicles travelling past the camp site in the daytime, virtually no one during the night. This was about three years ago in winter.

Hi mate. Loved the mods. Can you tell me a brand of mixer tap you have? I'm looking at installing one and mine has the rear in sink mount as well. Cheers
Hi Justin my mixer tap came with my Goldfields camper. When we swapped Tubby's cold tap out for the flickmixer we were able to get the fitting from Goldfields campers in Maryborough, Vic (03) 5461 4222. There are No Brand markings on the fitting. This ebay link looks identical to the tap fitted to my camper. Make sure you have enough space where fitting is to go, and that braided connections are fitted before securing collar. In our campers the braided hose fits to a nitto style guest fitting. You may find other flickmixer taps by doing a google search on caravan mixer taps, but few are suitable to our type of sinks. Also when we fitted Tubbys Tap, the sink was removed, and then re-siliconed in place once fitting installed. .i.ebayimg.com/images/g/ANAAAOSwZLJk8Z~W/s-l1600.jpg

Get the salesman to measure the ball weight before you buy. You will be surprised how heavy it is, way over the 210 stated with gas bottles, jerry cans and front boot filled. My mate bent his tow hitch and he was at 360 ball weight. After removing fridge and contents, emptying front water tank, removing everything from the front of the van he got it down to 240. Beware. Cheers

True .... Not sure exactly where they plan to have the new camp (supposedly bush camp to the East next to the Reserve, but cannot envisage it being close to the Farm sheds or Silos. Will update when known.
