A channel to bring you football game films, mainly for Texas Six-Man Football teams. I began collecting for the purpose of historical preservation old six-man football game films in Texas in 2005 with a major effort beginning in 2007 and 2008. The project was very successful, but now those films that were converted to DVD will now need to be converted to a digital...this is the reason for this channel! Will be posting films spanning 7 decades! From 1950s-Present day! With over 1,000 films archived on DVD this will be a long process so stay tuned and check back regularly for more uploads!
Thank you for posting this. I’m from Odessa and tried to follow Ft Hancock HS 6-Man football as much as I could. They need to make a documentary about the dynasty of 1980’s Ft Hancock football teams
All I do is collect school copies of their game films...which is probably some jrhs kid filming...only thing I do is collect, digitize if needed, and upload it to youtube so everyone can watch it
the whole channel is nothing but archiving coaches/schools game films. To be clear it is one of the schools involved game film that some kid filmed I have zero control of that
I finally have gotten to see our State Championship football game. While graduating 2 years earlier, I was away at college. Go O'Brien Bulldogs, Carney Rural High School. O'Brien Texas.
I played for Christoval and Paint Rock and even saw Mozelle and Talpa become Panther Creek. There is NO way in hell a town with the Population of Richland Springs makes the playoffs year after year without importing players or cheating in some way. They are no Jayton, Fort Hancock, Christoval, or even May caliber six man football. They are either cheating or they have a human breeding farm nearby. Nobody with their population has made a playoff run like this, probably should be investigated by UIL.
why are these teams playing 6 man.....the rosters seem large enough to play 11 man....is it something a school and opt for now? I thought it was an enrollment thing
It is enrollment based. Must be under 104.9 students in HS...you are looking at schools with high participation levels which is based on coaching and program success (also a coaching reflection).
@@theoneandonlyelijah3219 Montana sixman football has caught on like wildfire. They are trying to bring two Texas teams, Strawn and Milford, up to their State Capitol for games next year.
Looks cool seeing Coach Lee on RU-vid being that I Found this after watching Texas 6 on Paramount + I just watched the last episode and hated the show ended! Absolutely loved it! It reminded me of a “real life” Friday night lights and that’s a show I can watch over and over again! I was a senior at Zephyr this same year, and we fiished the season 7-3 but Mullin 45ed us as they did many opponents that year. Petey was a great sportsman too. An absolute pleasure to be around.
Do you happen to have any Zephyr Films from that time period...I would love to transfer them for you. I want the Zephyr film of the 1994 game vs Blackwell for sure
