Feathering light is basically tilting your light source a little away from your subject to only allow the light spilling off from the edge of the soft box to do the work. It helps create soft looking images with less highlights. I should make a video on that!
No not at all. I actually didn't set my camera without my speedlight so I can't actually tell. I did the entire setting having in mind that I would use the speedlight .
Great video! I am going to shoot an absentia wedding the couple is not around. So strange for me. Also I wonder why couples will book a photographer just for their portraits and not for the whole wedding. Is it cheaper for them?
Aww I wish you luck on the job. I feel like absentia weddings are so breezy and easy to shoot, no stress literally 😅😅 also booking for portraits to me is cool! Hehehe also very stress free but I guess some people just don’t bother or mind about the whole ceremony. They’d rather just book for their portraits as evidence that there was an event. That’s why some people skip the entire ceremony and just do prewedding photos with wedding outfits and call it a day. It’s just a thing of preference I guess! 😅

Thank you for this encouragement sis! It is something we constantly need to be reminded of indeed because the arrows of discouragement, doubt and even impatience can surely pierce right through the heart as we walk this narrow road. It was even hard to see you 'down' because you are usually the bubbliest on here but that is the real. Sometimes, we fight a serious battle in our emotions, for our joy, but praise be to God for indeed we have overcome. Don't throw in the towel brothers and sisters, let us follow our Jesus' example and not take our eyes off the final prize! The troubles we go through are but light afflictions in comparison to the glory ahead!! ❤❤❤❤

@DNAPremiumPortraits honestly there was no brand name on it but its quite popular in Nigeria. IF you're IN Nigeria and ask a vendor for it, they will sell to you. I don't know if its godox cause no name on the box.
