There's a huge difference between this and Tempo of Time. After listening to the first five minutes of this and jumping around the track, I'm not impressed. There's a noticeable lack of artful transition between pieces, and of orchestrational embellishment or tonal meta-structure to tie it all together into a cohesive musical journey. It's just a bunch of abbreviated cookie cutter metal band interpretations of each song crudely butted up against each other and organized according to element or theme. I suppose the most remarkable thing about this collection is its thoroughness in terms of quantity. I just don't value that all that much.
When I heard the 117 lost ancient ruins, I came so fast that I have to ask leave on my job were I was listening to this marvelous medley so I can change my underware because daaaaaaaaamn that was amazing
I've seen so many Mario and Kirby every song is here style medleys, but until now I've never seen a Zelda one. The fact that it's heavy metal as well just blows me away. I'm EXTRAORDINARILY glad I left my usual recommended list for this. 100% worth it. Reminds me of the good ol' days of the minibosses.
You should be very proud of what youve done here because the unimaginable amount of time and effort that went into this definitely paid off. The quality is there and i can see myself coming back to listen to this for the foreseeable future. Thanks for doing this!
